P.F. Kluge


Served in 1967 as Lee Marvin's guide on the island of Saipan (where Marvin had been wounded as a Marine during the second World War). The experience with Marvin, and the stories that the actor told, inspired P. F. Kluge to write his suspense novel "The Day That I Die." The book was later optioned by director Robert Aldrich.
