Pixar fans who plan on picking up Brave on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, and DVD next month will be treated to an original short entitled The Legend of Mor'Du. The studio has released two photos from the short, which explores how this prince was transformed into a villainous bear. The story shows us how the prince sought control of his family's kingdom, conjuring a powerful spell to help him conquer his brothers. Unfortunately, the spell also lead to his transformation. Here's what Brian Larsen had to say about the message behind his short.

Disney has sent a stern message to Brightspark Productions, the makers of Braver. The forty-five minute animated feature bears a close resemblance to the studio's Brave, which was released earlier this year.
The studio sent a cease-and-desist letter demanding that Brightspark Productions withdraw the DVDs from the market, or else face legal consequences. Here is what Disney had to say in their official statement.
"People place great trust in the quality and creativity of Disney, and when it appears that another company is causing confusion among Disney consumers we will act to protect ourselves and the consumer. Disney believes Brightspark has demonstrated a pattern of misleading consumers with numerous releases that confuse and undermine the trust those consumers have in Disney."
Brightspark Productions replied with the following statement.

Pixar is almost as well-known for planting "Easter Eggs" (i.e. nods to their previous efforts) in their films as they are for their excellence in the animation field. The studio revealed two new Easter eggs found in their latest offering, Brave, currently playing in theaters nationwide. Disney Pixar has released two new clips from Brave, the studio's latest animated adventure, which is set in the Scottish highlands. Kelly Macdonald voices Merida, a rebellious princess who wants to change her fate.
