Richard Kind was born on November 22, 1956 in Trenton, New Jersey, USA as Richard Bruce Kind. He is an actor and writer, known for Spin City (1996), A Serious Man (2009) and A Bug's Life (1998). He has been married to Dana Stanley since November 13, 1999. They have three children.

Married Dana Stanley in New York City's Central Park. Dana is the executive director of Project ALS, an organization that raises money to study cures for Lou Gehrig's disease.
Father, Samuel, was a jeweler in Princeton, New Jersey. He passed away in 1998. His mother, Alice, was a homemaker. His sister, Joanne, also is a homemaker.
