Dead of Summer: Ronen Rubinstein on Camp Stillwater's Death Toll and More!

19 July 2016 7:32 AM, PDT | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

We recently had the opportunity to speak with Ronen Rubinstein, who plays Alex Powell on Freeform's Dead of Summer, and he was very tight-lipped about what death will bring to Camp Stillwater over the summer.

While things are only just getting started for the teens at Camp Stillwater, the show has started off at a breakneck speed, and only in Dead of Summer Season 1 Episode 3, we were left wondering if two of the main characters could possibly be dead, already.

It was a pleasure chatting with him as we delved into the deeper plot details of what may happen to Alex, and the others, as the season progresses, and he decided what his dream role would be. (Hint! It involves the Red Hot Chili Peppers.)

Find out what the summer will bring to the campers, as well as some insight on Rubinstein and his plans for after Dead of Summer wraps! »

Red Hot Chili Peppers Mistaken for Metallica in Airport Customs Mix-Up

11 July 2016 10:54 AM, PDT | The Wrap | See recent The Wrap news »

Red Hot Chili Peppers were the victims of mistaken identity over the weekend. The group’s bass player Flea took to his Instagram account on Sunday to reveal that the group was called into customs in Belarus, only to be confused with their fellow music-makers Metallica. “We were called into customs officials office at an airport in Belarus and they asked us to sign a bunch of Metallica cd’s and photos,” the musician wrote. “We tried to explain to them that we weren’t Metallica but they insisted that we sign anyway. They had the power.” Also Read: Anthony Kiedis Saved a Baby's Life. »

Selena Gomez Turns James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ Into ‘Coaster Karaoke’ (Video)

21 June 2016 6:31 AM, PDT | The Wrap | See recent The Wrap news »

Selena Gomez makes James Corden take a slight detour during the latest “Carpool Karaoke,” one that gave the “Late Late Show” some heavy pause. The duo traded in the cushy front seats of the CBS host’s Range Rover for those on a roller coaster, and sang her hit “Come & Get It” the whole time — or at least, they tried to. Later, while back to the (relative) safety of driving through Los Angeles, the two did shots — of ginger. Then they stopped at a McDonald’s, where Gomez elicited a big response from employees. Anthony Kiedis Says He Saved a Baby's Life While Filming Red Hot Chili Peppers' Carpool Karaoke

16 June 2016 4:00 PM, PDT | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

While there was plenty of singing, laughing and even a wrestling match during James Corden's Carpool Karaoke featuring the Red Hot Chili Peppers, there was a life or death moment that fans did not see. The band's frontman Anthony Kiedis revealed he resuscitated a baby while filming the Late Late Show segment. "We also had a dance-off, which they didn't include, we had a dance-off after the wrestle-off, which led to an interesting, unscripted moment," Kiedis, 53, began explaining to radio host Chris Moyles on Radio X. "We danced off, we tied and then we were going to celebrate with »

Anthony Kiedis helps save baby during Carpool Karaoke sketch

16 June 2016 10:37 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

By now you’ve probably seen, or at least heard of, the Red Hot Chili Peppers joining James Corden for his Late Late Show sketch, Carpool Karaoke. The host and band recently rocked out while covering Rhcp tunes in Los Angeles traffic. But the trip took a serious turn when they helped save a baby who wasn’t breathing. In an interview with Radio X, Anthony Kiedis explained the harrowing experience that made him a hero. “A woman came out of her house, holding a child saying, 'My baby, my baby, my baby can't breathe!'" Kiedis said. The singer continued, ”We all ran across the street, the woman thrust the baby into my arms, the baby wasn't breathing and I thought, 'I'm gonna try and do a little baby CPR real quick, see if I can get some air in this kid'. Tried to open the mouth, [it was] like, locked shut.” He said he began rubbing the baby’s stomach and before long, the child began breathing again. They stayed with the two until paramedics arrived on the scene. "It was kind of a beautiful thing that we stopped…[as] the baby needed help and we were there,” Kiedis said. Bravo. Bravo. »

James Corden went back to the basics on Monday night when he joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers for a solid rock session in his latest edition of Carpool Karaoke. Just in time for the release of their new album, The Getaway, Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, and Josh Klinghoffer bared all as they belted out a few of their biggest songs while driving around town. While you do get to see the fun and playful sides of their personalities, they also actually get shirtless as they sing along to "The Zephyr Song." And an added bonus? Late-night’s biggest fanboy James Corden regularly loses his you-know-what during Carpool Karaoke, but he’s never actually lost his shirt. Until now.

On Monday’s Late Late Show, the Red Hot Chili Peppers joined Corden in crooning such tracks as “Can’t Stop,” “Give It Away,” “Californication” and “Under the Bridge.” The sing-along, which was interrupted for conversations about the rock and roll lifestyle, prosthetic leg battles, and Cher, took an unexpected turn midway through when Corden challenged Anthony Kiedis to a “man wrestle.” (Needless to say, it was probably a mistake. »

Red Hot Chili Peppers Get Naked for Carpool Karaoke

14 June 2016 6:40 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

Even with the recent introduction of "Drop the Mic," "Carpool Karaoke" remains The Late Late Show's most consistently entertaining segment. Last night, James Corden was joined by Red Hot Chili Peppers for a drive around Los Angeles. It was basically everything you'd expect a carpool with Rhcp to be like: the shirts came off, there was some front lawn wrestling, and air bass playing. During the segment, in between singing some of the band's hit songs ("Californication," "Under the Bridge," etc.), Corden and the guys chatted about everything from the weirdest thing they've seen at one of their shows to the time Cher babysat Anthony Kiedis to their penchant for nudity. Somewhere along the long, a spontaneous wrestling match broke out and oh, yeah, most of the guys took off their shirts. You can watch below. »

Red Hot Chili Peppers Join James Corden for Topless ‘Carpool Karaoke’ (Video)

It was only a matter of time before “Carpool Karaoke” devolved into Greco-Roman wrestling — and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were always going to be the odds-on favorites to make that happen. Weirdly enough, three of the five commuters ended up taking their tops off after the match. Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer joined James Corden last night for his signature “Late Late Show” bit, singing their hits and even introducing the actor to a strange song called “Heemi Lheemey.” How that track didn’t make the “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” cut, we have no idea. Red Hot Chili Peppers were the latest artists to cram in James Corden's vehicle to help the Late Late Show host get to work on time for "Carpool Karaoke," although the host likely regretted that decision as soon as Anthony Kiedis and Flea begin arguing about directions around Los Angeles within the first minute.

In addition to singing Rhcp tracks "Give It Away," "Under the Bridge," "Californication," new single "Dark Necessities" and a song from the musical Oliver!, Kiedis and Flea also debuted "Heemi Lheemey," a nonsensical, quasi-yodel the »
