A cricket bat signed by 32 Indian film legends such as Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra is to go under the hammer on Friday 29 November at the Westbury Gallery, Westbury Hotel, Mayfair. The bat has been donated by BBC Asian Network presenter Tommy Sandhu, with all the proceeds from the sale going to the charity, Children in Need.
The auction – organised by Conferro Auctions – features Vintage Bollywood Memorabilia such as original LPs, film banners and Bollywood posters from some of the milestones of Indian film history, including Mughal-e-Azam (1960) and Sholay (1975), which were recently voted the top two greatest Bollywood films of all time.
Children in Need provides grants to projects in the UK which help children and young people who are disadvantaged. They aim to empower and extend their life choices to make a real difference to the lives of children all across the UK.

Mumbai, June 28: Salman Khan, one of Hindi film industry's commercially most successful actor, completes his silver jubilee in Bollywood this year. His younger brother, actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan says Salman's own decisions have helped his career to flourish all through the years.
"Salman has had a flourishing career by making his own desisions," Arbaaz told reporters here Thursday at the launch of Gillete Fusion Power.
Arbaaz says it's not wise to pinpoint the failures in one's career.

Mumbai, June 14: To be on par with her gadget-savvy family members, actress Malaika Arora Khan says that over the years she too has become a gadget freak.
She keeps herself abreast of new technologies, thanks to her actor-filmmaker husband Arbaaz Khan and other family members.

Mumbai, June 13: Late actor-director Joy Mukherjee's unreleased 1974 film "Love In Bombay" is being prepared for a release now and Arbaaz Khan says the movie will be a nostalgic moment for everyone and revive old memories.
Joy had wielded the megaphone for "Love In Bombay" that stars Waheeda Rehman as a cool city girl, while Zeenat Aman plays a vamp. Mumbai, April 18: Mostly seen in serious or grey roles in films like "Fashion" and "Hulchul", Arbaaz Khan will now be seen as a judge on the 16th season of "Comedy Circus". He is confident that he can take jokes on himself as he has a good sense of humour.
On the show, the participants do not spare any one and are often seen taking a potshot at Archana Puran Singh, who has been with "Comedy Circus" since the beginning. Arbaaz replaces his brother Sohail in the judge's seat.

Mumbai, April 17: Actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan, who recently directed "Dabangg 2", says he would not try making a sex comedy or even a dark comedy. Not because he feels there's anything wrong in it, but he believes one should only do those things that reflect a bit of their own personality.
