Tabloids claim that the Keeping Up With the Kardashian matriarch is not only managing the former Disney darling but she's pushing her to lose weight and undergo plastic surgery. Well, let's put these rumors to rest once and for all. Gomez is not—we repeat, not!—working with Jenner. "Selena continues to be repped by her new team since April and is very happy," a source said. Screen Gems Buys ‘Pride And Prejudice And Zombies,’ Pic Adds ‘Game Of Thrones’ Stars

23 September 2014 4:32 PM, PDT | Deadline New York | See recent Deadline New York news »

Exclusive: Two major developments on Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, the Burr Steers film that mixes the mannered, brain-challenging prose of Jane Austen with brain-eating corpses from hell.

Screen Gems has closed a deal for U.S. distribution rights, and Game Of ThronesCharles Dance and Lena Headey have joined the cast. The film stars Lily James, Sam Riley, Bella Heathcoate, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, and Suki Waterhouse.

Screen Gems seems a strong match for this literary mash-up that begins with the tangled relationship between lovers from different social classes in 19th-century England, and is complicated by a full-on outbreak of zombies. That plot embellishment escaped Austen but was added by Seth Grahame-Smith, and it probably would have propelled me to actually finish Austen’s book had she thought of it in the first place. Latest script is by Steers.

Portman, who just made her directorial debut on the Hebrew-language adaptation of the Amos Oz novel A Tale Of Love And Darkness, will continue to star in Hollywood movies, and maybe some European films. She […] »
