Well, what can we say about Destination Star Trek London? It’s a busy little event, that’s for sure and we’ve had a couple of days with amazing people and from every decade since it began in 1966. With queues already forming outside the ExCel Centre in London, we arrived early to grab some photo time with the legend himself, William Shatner. In close proximity was Deep Sapce Nine’s Avery Brooks, followed up by many stars including Connor Trinneer, Rene Auberjonois, David Warner, Chase Masterson, John DeLancie, Denise Crosby and the legendary Walter Koenig who played Chekov in the original series.
In fact, the entire history of Star Trek was represented as stars of past and present attended from the original, right through The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine and then Enterprise. This autumn, London will see the launch of "Destination Star Trek London", which will be beaming down to the ExCeL Centre from the 19th to the 21st of October. This will be the first official Star Trek live event in the UK in 10 years, offering British fans a chance to be a part of, and witness, Star Trek history.
Welcoming fans from all over the galaxy, Destination Star Trek London will see all five of the legendary Federation captains together in one place, including: William Shatner (Captain James T. Kirk, Star Trek: The Original Series) will be joined by the UK's own Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Star Trek: The Next Generation), Avery Brooks (Captain Benjamin Sisko, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Kate Mulgrew (Captain Kathryn Janeway, Star Trek: Voyager) and Scott Bakula (Captain Jonathan Archer, Star Trek: Enterprise) in the once-in-a-lifetime event.

Destination Star Trek London is giving us even more great and classic names everyday. We previously announced that immense line-up that features all five legendary Captains, then there was Brent Spiner and now Michael Dorn plus another two captains in the shape of Sean Kenney (Captain Pike) and Tricia O’Neil (Captain Garrett). This is the first major UK event in 10 years for Star Trek fans and it’s all taking place at theExCeL Centre on 19th – 21st October 2012.
