Joanna Szczerbic and was born in 1970. In his brief lifetime he worked on several different positions within the movie industry: writer, director, editor, actor, composer, and second unit director.
His film debut as an actor was directed by his father in
Success Is the Best Revenge (1984). Along with his older brother
Michal Skolimowski he wrote
30 Door Key (1991), and together again they collaborated in
The Hollow Men (1993) where they wrote, acted and directed, a feature film produced by their father.
His final film was the thriller
Ixjana (2012), of which he was the director, writer and film composer. It was released a couple of months after his death by sepsis on May 2, 2012. He was 42.
