It looks like bringing Big Brother back to the air during a global pandemic is not going to be an easy task.
After months of rumors, CBS recently announced Big Brother: All-Stars would be launching Wednesday, August 5.
The rumors about the cast have been swirling for weeks, but it appears that there is still a lot of shuffling going on behind-the-scenes ahead of the premiere.
The series typically unveils its cast ahead of the premiere, and this year looked to be no different.
Moments after the All-Stars season was announced, the Big Brother page on CBS All Access updated to say that there would be interviews with the cast Wednesday, July 29.
The casting director, Robyn Kass, also shared a post on social media Sunday that suggested the cast would be unveiled on Monday.

Big Brother 22 return date projections hint at just how close the show is to coming back for its summer 2020 installment. Yes, Big Brother has already been renewed by CBS. Casting is also still open for people who might want to become a part of the BB22 cast. The process of putting that new season together started a while ago, but at least we know that Robyn Kass is working on getting the right people and that Julie Chen Moonves is returning as the host. The unfortunate piece of news is that we don’t yet know the official Big Brother 22 start date. That’s […]...

Expected the… old faces? Fans went into a tizzy last week when Julie Chen Moonves‘ sartorial choices possibly hinted at an all-stars installment on “Big Brother 21” this summer, and 52 percent of our readers are totally on board with that prospect.
“Big Brother” hasn’t done an all-stars season since its first and only one in Season 7 in 2006, so you can definitely say it’s overdue for another. It’s brought back a couple alums here and there for a bunch of seasons, but it hasn’t had an all-out case of returning houseguests since then. And honestly, if a second one hasn’t happened by now, it might never happen again. Most of the iconic players have moved on or are not interested in revisiting reality TV again. The sweet spot for a second one would’ve been circa Season 14.

Since the earliest days of Hollywood, aspiring actors have auditioned for their big break, while casting agents have pored over headshots and scoured résumés. But there’s one notable arena of screen appearances where the casts being sought aren’t trained thespians but everyday people — the world of reality TV.
For casting agents, finding the right individuals for unscripted shows, which live or die on the strength of their real-life ensembles, is no easy task.
Robyn Kass has been one of the industry’s most respected reality casting agents since the genre exploded with the arrival of megahits like “Survivor” and “Big Brother,” both of which premiered their U.S. versions on CBS in 2000. Kass was involved with the two shows almost from the beginning. The network recently renewed “Survivor” for additional seasons; “Big Brother” will premiere its 20th season on June 27.

Hey, fellow Big Brother fans. Some more exciting news has come up for the Big Brother world. As we previously reported, the next season of Amazing Race which will be season 31 is bringing on a couple of former Big Brother houseguests to compete as teams. According to a report from TMZ, they're supposed to just be competing against other former Big Brother houseguests. However, the folks over at realityblurred.com said it would be a mixture of former Big Brother houseguests and former Amazing Race contestants. We're still not sure which story is true, but TMZ has recently revealed a couple of the Big Brother houseguests that will be competing. First up, former season 13 Big Brother winner Rachel Reilly is coming back. This will be her third, freaking time to compete on the Amazing Race. She recently appeared on seasons 20 and 24 with her hubby Brendon Villegas who is also a Big Brother season 12 and 13 alum.

Alright, so as previously reported, CBS has definitely renewed their hit reality show "Big Brother" for a brand new season 20 which will debut next summer 2018. This means the producers and casting agents will be heavy in search of new houseguests to compete. According to Big Brother Network, Robyn Kass who is in charge of the casting company for the show Kassting Inc. recently hit up her official Twitter account to reveal that they are now accepting applications to apply for the new season 20. Her tweet reads like this: "#BB20 hopefuls- we r accepting applications, but casting won't start until next year. Check back around March/ April for open calls. :)" You guys can see it on Twitter by Clicking Here. The unfortunate news about all this is that Kassting Inc is the same company responsible for casting this past season 19 lousy houseguests who just threw all the competitions to Paul.

There's going to be a new head of household coming to the Villegas family: A baby! "Big Brother" alums Rachel Reilly and husband Brendon Villegas announced they're expecting a new addition to their family on last night's show. "I always say 'No one comes in between me and my man,'" Rachael told Julie Chen last night, "except a Brenchel baby!" Brenchel, of course, was the name the duo were given on the reality series in 2010, when their showmance first ignited during Season 12. Reilly would return to the show and win during Season 13, before the two would place second on two different seasons of "The Amazing Race." They tied the knot in September 2012 in a ceremony officiated by "Big Brother" star Matt Hoffman. After last night's reveal, Reilly showed off her barely-there baby bump while posing with the show's casting director Robyn Kass. "Can't wait to meet this little one!

Producer Revealed CBS Big Brother 13 casting starts in early March. Recently, Robyn Kass who is the producer for CBS' hit reality, summer show "Big Brother," took to her "Twitter" account to reveal that they will begin casting for the upcoming Big Brother 13 season. It appears that since they're casting, there may not be the rumored Big Brother All-Stars this season. I personally think they need to go another season before doing All-Stars again because that will make it a full six seasons like the original All-Stars season.

Omfg! "Big Brother 12" has officially started and the newest set of hamsters have already created alliances, showmances, and competed in a series redonkulous challenges. Don't you just <3 "Big Brother?!"
As the "expert" blogger (term used loosely), I have held back my pre-season first impressions of the cast because I know, from first hand experience, that a contestant's true persona doesn't emerge until the game begins. That all said, I think this cast seems to be very, uhhhh, likable (?), which to be honest makes me a bit sad, as I really wanted to call out some pigs and shower them in haterade. Squeal for me!
There are a few houseguests that have endearing traits that may/may not get on America's nerves...e.g. Rachel's laugh or Enzo's 'Meow Meow' references, but the pre-season's most hated houseguest (Monet) hasn't shown herself to be that annoying or self-absorbed, yet. My...

Tvgrapevine.com recently got a chance to give Robyn Kass of Kassting Inc. which is the casting company and director of Big Brother 11,a 15 minute interview. She talked about how the promo dept has nothing to do with what really goes on behind the scenes, so the promo commercials are just a lot of hype. She also states that this year's contestants that she interviewed were great, and are some of the best characters she's seen. She says the contestants that come in, really know the game, and come in with a game plan already set. They spoke about how what they saw from Dan Gheesling (Big Brother 10 Winner) last year was what they expected to see. The way he interviewed was exactly the way he was in the house, and that he's very intelligent.

I found this promo for Big Brother 11 which came out a little over a month ago from the CBS "Early Show". It features of course, Julie Chen giving an interview to Robyn Kass who is the casting director for CBS Big Brother, Mike Boogie the winner of "Big brother 7 All-Stars" and Big Brother 2 Contestant, and Brian Hart who was the quickly ousted first contestant of Big Brother 10. Mike Boogie explains his experience on the show, and states that it's a lot harder than it looks. Brian also follows suit with the same sort of comments.
