Jean Kasem – who filed a wrongful death, negligence and fraud lawsuit against her stepchildren and their attorney in June – attempted to prevent movers from seizing assets from her late husband’s Bel-Air mansion in the video, telling Inside Edition‘s Jim Moret, “I have the grant deed to the house. That shows I am the sole owner.”

The 63-year-old’s lawsuit against Kerri, Mike, and Julie Kasem, Julie’s husband,

Guest-programming Rage has been a great Australian dream for 30 years. Here’s to 30 more | Clem Bastow

ABC’s long-running weekend music video show, Rage, was a wildcard of Australian TV that shaped a whole generation of music lovers

Tuning in to Rage, ABC TV’s late-night music video program, every Saturday morning during the 1990s was, for a certain generation, a little like waiting to hear Casey Kasem present the American Top 40. Would your favourite video make it to No 1, or would Savage Garden’s To the Moon and Back beat it to the top spot and ruin your entire weekend?

Yes, there were other ways to access the Australian top 50 but there was nothing quite like getting up early and feeling your eyes turn into spirals over a few hours of back-to-back music videos coupled with the high sugar content breakfast cereal of your choice.

Transformers: The Movie 30th Anniversary Trailer Revisits The 80s Classic
Michael Bay is currently working on his fifth installment in the live-action Transformers franchise, and there are lots more to come after that. Even though the movies continue to make money at the box office, for a great many fans, these new sequels do not represent what they want out of the Transformers saga. For a lot of people, the best entry ever made featuring Optimus Prime and the gang was Transformers: The Movie, the animated version which came out in 1986. Lucky for us, a brand new, 4k release is on the way.

Shout! Factory and Hasbro have just released a new trailer, which is up on YouTube, showcasing the restoration of the movie for the Transformers 30th anniversary release. The trailer is definitely on the cheesy side of things, but all of the footage from Transformers: The Movie looks absolutely fantastic, and the special features seem well worth it for fans as well.

Transformers: The Movie 30th Anniversary Blu-ray trailer emerges

Chris Cummins Aug 9, 2016

Just in time for the 30th anniversary of comes this look at the upcoming Transformers: The Movie Blu-ray special edition....

30 years ago, the innocence of a generation was brutally snuffed out with the release of Transformers: The Movie, the audacious and wildly entertaining feature film spin-off of the mega-popular animated series (and the Hasbro toy line) that had the cojones to kill off Optimus Prime...and several other beloved characters. Of course, the idea behind this cartoon culling was that kids would fall in love with Hot Rod and the new robots introduced in this film, they'd run out and buy their corresponding toys. But such unchecked capitalism had an unexpected side effect: It made audiences realize just how much they loved Optimus Prime in the first place.

Robot friend, we hardly knew ye.

Optimus eventually made his comeback, but at the time, this was a devastating

Drive-In Dust Offs: The Dark (1979)

Any horror movie that starts off with a Serlingesque voiceover has my attention. And when you make your antagonist a hulking alien who looks like an eight foot tall Gene Simmons sans Botox with a proclivity for ripping off people’s heads And shooting laser beams out of his eyes, you are granted permission to take all my money. Welcome to The Dark (1979), a fun throwback to a time when audiences weren’t beholden of such things as logic and coherence to have a ripping drive-in experience.

But what audiences do always appreciate is a good cast, strong direction, and some solid jumps. The Dark answers the call though in such an unassuming way that before you could blink, it was gone from theatres (but hung around drive-ins for a bit, as horror films were wont to do). It’s so low key that viewers at the time probably felt

Matthew Lillard: 'I was ashamed of the Scooby-Doo movies - now I'm proud'

Matthew Lillard: 'I was ashamed of the Scooby-Doo movies - now I'm proud'
Matthew Lillard first entered the world of Scooby Doo in 2002 - and 13 years on, he's become the go-to Norville 'Shaggy' Rogers.

The actor voices Shaggy in new animated series Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! - having inherited the mantle from Casey Kasem, who passed away last year.

Lillard told Digital Spy that he is determined to "protect the legacy that was created" by Kasem, recalling how he would listen to tapes of the actor to prepare for his role in 2002's Scooby Doo film.

"I would listen to a recording - I had five episodes of Casey on loop and I would just mimic him the entire time," he revealed. "That's what really solidified the voice and the character, and carried me all the way through."

Lillard played Shaggy in two live-action outings - the first film, and a 2004 sequel - and admitted that his feelings about the divisive movies have changed over the years.

The shows & films that made Britain fall in love with anime

From Marine Boy and Thundercats to Cities Of Gold and Akira, we look at the TV shows and movies that introduced the UK to Japanese anime

One evening in 1994, the BBC screened a documentary simply called Manga. Presented by Jonathan Ross, it showcased the rising popularity of Japanese animation, largely focusing on the output of Manga Entertainment, whose dubbed VHS releases had made a huge impact on anime fans and caused a certain amount of consternation among the mainstream press.

For British viewers, the anime boom took a long time to arrive. In America, Japanese shows like Kimba The White Lion, Gigantor and Astro Boy were a common sight on television in the 1960s, yet it took until the late 70s and 80s, and a string of European-Japanese co-productions, before anime finally began to find a hold on UK television.

As a youngster at the time, I didn't necessarily know
