He was the son of Roscoe Karns and Mary Frasco Karns.
Appeared with his father on Rocky King, Detective (1950).
Perhaps best known for his role as James Stewart 's younger brother Harry Bailey in the yuletide classic It's a Wonderful Life (1946).
Moved to Ajijic, Mexico in 1971 and started up an English language theater, The Lakeside Little Theater, where he produced and directed shows up until his death at age 79.
1 son and 2 daughters.
His family along with Lakeside Little theater associates had his interment for him in Ajijic's cemetery. He was buried in an unmarked grave.
