Shuddhi seems to bring together actors who haven't shared screen space for quite some time now. Kareena Kapoor will be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan after almost a decade and now, yet another actor added to the cast is Pankaj Kapur. This will also be Pankaj Kapoor's first major outing with Kareena Kapoor, who coincidentally once dated his son Shahid. Not divulging many details about his role in the film, Pankaj Kapur revealed that the reason he agreed for the role was because it was something he has never done before on screen. While speculations are on the rise about Pankaj playing a negative role in the film, the actor hasn't confirmed details about his role. Shuddhi is directed by Karan Malhotra and will be produced by Karan Johar. The film is slated to go on floors by mid 2014. »

The humor of the film is unconventional and witty and not the usual ‘leave-your-brains-at home’ kind of comedy. It is the political scenario depicted in the film that is made fun of, hence making it quiet unusual and sharp. The film deals »
