Did You Know?

He was inspired to become an animator from watching Hayao Miyazaki's Flying Phantom Ship (1969) as a child. He would later work with Miyazaki on Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984), and Miyazaki was so impressed with his work he later brought him on for his later animated films. See more »
