Drew Kahn has acted in many venues from the original cast in the
off-Broadway production of "Saint Tous" (the part of Andre De Shields)
to a funny supporting role as a no-talent football player Papke in
Necessary Roughness (1991).
Drew has also directed several national touring productions for the
Centerstage and directed the cabaret 'Here We Are' during the summer of
1995 at Primary Stages in New York City. Drew is the founding Artistic
Director of the Oasis Theatre Company, a summer professional theatre
dedicated to presenting both classical and brand new plays with a
multi-cultural emphasis. The debut season (1996) included a
non-traditional production of Arthur Miller's 'Death of a Salesman'
starring Broadway legend Andre' De Shields (The Wiz, Ain't Misbehavin',
Play On!) as Willy Loman. Drew's direction and the production as a
whole won national and local accolades for his Oasis Theatre Company.
