- Junior was born on May 10, 1943 in Manila, Philippines. He was an actor and production manager, known for The Paramedic (2020), Cuéntame cómo pasó (2001) and Más bonita que ninguna (1965). He was married to Rocío Dúrcal. He died on April 15, 2014 in Torrelodones, Madrid, Spain.

- In 1980s, he moved back to the Philippines, and starred in the Filipino movies. He also released three albums in Tagalog for the Philippines. One of his most popular songs that he wrote and produced was "Yakap".

- He and Juan Pardo left Los Brincos and formed Juan y Júnior. One of their songs include Spanish version of "Fool On The Hill" by John Lennon and Paul McCartney in 1976.
