Until the exhibit's restoration in 1982, his recorded voice was heard as the narrator in the famous Cyclorama of the Battle of Atlanta in Atlanta, GA. This came about because of Jory's appearance as Jonas Wilkerson, the overseer, in the film classic Gone with the Wind (1939). In 1982 his recording was replaced by one featuring the voice of 'James Earl Jones'. more
