Mikael Jorgensen is a Grammy award winning musician, composer & producer based in Ojai, CA. He has been a member of the critically acclaimed Chicago band Wilco since 2002. Mikael has been scoring various projects from his studio in Ojai.
Jorgensen started his career in music in the 1990's playing in bands in his native New Jersey & New York and then moved to Chicago, IL where he helped build John McEntire's SOMA Electronic Music Studios. It was there that his recording and production skills were sharpened and eventually hired by Wilco to record their "A Ghost Is Born" LP and then invited to join in the summer of 2002.
After moving to Ojai in 2012, Jorgensen has been working on writing music for documentaries, short films and internet shorts.
