Frankie Boyle has been told that he cannot perform at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff because of his controversial joke about Katie Price's son Harvey. The Scottish comedian had hoped to play the venue, but told Twitter followers yesterday (February 13) that he had been informed he was not welcome. He wrote: "The venue I wanted has wished to protect the delicate people of Wales from my filth." Argentine model Leandro, 25, is said to have been asked by the show's production company to try to persuade Katie, 33, to join him.

The pair dated for eight months last year after meeting at the Oscars.

They were hailed as a glossy new addition to the reality genre. But is the appeal of one-joke, one-note shows such as Towie and Desperate Scousewives fading already?

The reem is over. The fake tan is fading and the vajazzles have lost their lustre. The only way is down for The Only Way Is Essex – with ratings for the latest series slipping. Last week the fourth series kicked off more than half a million viewers down on the third season – the first episode attracting 1.34 million compared with 1.89 million last autumn. So is this the beginning of the end for the scripted reality trend? Has the bright orange bubble burst before it ever fully inflated?

Model-turned-reality TV star Katie Price has warned young women of the dangers of having breast implants, insisting it's a "big risk" to undergo cosmetic surgery.

The British star began her media career as a topless model and had several bust-boosting operations before undergoing further surgery to reduce her chest size.

Thousands of women in the U.K. are feared to be potentially at risk from substandard breast implants manufactured by defunct French company Poly Implant Prostheses - and Price has joined the debate over the issue of cosmetic surgery, warning women to think it through before volunteering to go under the knife.

She also called for the British government to impose a minimum age requirement for breast implant surgery.
