Richard T. Jones Joins Faith-Based Movie ‘A Question of Faith’

Richard T. Jones has joined the cast of “A Question of Faith,” which has begun principal photography in Atlanta.

C. Thomas Howell, Kim Fields, Jaci Velasquez, T.C. Stallings, Greg Alan Williams, Renee O’Connor and Donna Biscoe are also on board to star in the ensemble film.

Kevan Otto is directing. Terrence “Ty” Manns is penning the script.

The story follows a family’s tug of war between career and family priorities. One family examined, the Danielson’s, struggles to have faith in the midst of adversity, and another, the Hernandez’s, embarks quest for forgiveness. More connected than they know, their lives intertwine in prayer.

The pic is being produced by Angela White with Dr. Cameron Lewis exec producing.

Jones most recently wrapped production on the WB movie “CHiPs.” He is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Luber Roklin.

Golden Door International Film Festival Announces 2016 Lineup, Hosts ‘Another You’ As Opening Night Film

The Golden Door International Film Festival has announced its 2016 lineup today. The New Jersey festival features a mix of indie winners and mainstream majors. It runs from September 22nd through the 25th and it’s held at the beautiful Landmark Loews, Beacon Paramount theatre, and Rialto-Capital.

The festival will host the world premiere of Chris Robert’s film “Another You,” which follows young and ambitious science major Sydney Jameson who finds love and refuses to let it go, turning an ordinary relationship into a dangerous fixation. Sydney soon loses herself in a scientific break through, finding a way to use the theory of De Ja Vu to explore her past mistakes. It stars Ksenia Solo (“Black Swan), Kris Holden-Ried (“K-19: The Widowmaker”), Diego Boneta (“Scream Queens”), and Richard T. Jones (“Judging Amy”). Watch an exclusive clip from the film below. »

Hawaii Five-0 has added a new woman to its cast for its seventh season. TV Line reported that Rosalind Chao has joined the CBS series as the new governor of Hawaii. Richard T. Godzilla 2 Loses Director Gareth Edwards

Just a few days ago, Warner Bros. and Legendary made some changes to its release schedule, pushing Godzilla 2 back nine months from June 8, 2018 to March 22, 2019, while issuing a May 29, 2020 release date for Godzilla Vs Kong, which ties into next year's Kong: Skull Island. Now that that Godzilla 2 has a new release date, the project has suffered a setback, with director Gareth Edwards parting ways with the project. It isn't clear yet if Warner Bros. and Legendary have any candidates in mind to replace the filmmaker, but with nearly three years to go until this hits theaters, there is still plenty of time to find a directorial replacement.

Deadline reports that the split between Gareth Edwards and Warner Bros. was amicable, and that both parties agreed on the filmmaker parting ways before the new release date was announced. This report reveals that the filmmaker had several projects he wanted »
