Empire: E4, 9pm
Us TV's hottest new drama is finally hitting UK shores, airing the first of 12 episodes tonight on E4.
Empire is all about a music mogul (Terrence Howard) who must pick one of his three sons as his successor - but the real stars are Taraji P Henson as scene-stealing Cookie and the epic tunes from Timbaland.
24 Hours in the Past: BBC One, 9pm
Watching celebrities being put through the wringer is a format which never gets old - and it's the big reason to tune in for BBC One's new four-part reality series, 24 Hours in the Past.
A motley crew - including Zoe Lucker, Ann Widdecombe and Tyger Drew-Honey - have volunteered to experience four days living the life of the working poor in Victorian Britain. How will they cope?
Critical: Sky1, 9pm
Sky1's high-tension medical series, fronted by the captivating Lennie Jones, continues with its 10th episode tonight.

Teaser video from season two of AMC's The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead returms this October and stars Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne Callies, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Emma Bell, Jeffrey Demunn, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs and Lennie Jones. The Walking Dead is an epic, edge-of-your-seat drama where personal struggles are magnified against a backdrop of moment-to-moment survival. Episode Title: "Corner Man"
Written By: Jonathan E. Steinberg & Robert Levine
Story: Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) enters a mixed martial arts tournament in order to save disgraced prize fighter Edie (Dash Mihok) from businessman Hugh Prentiss (Peter Wingfield), furious over Edie's refusal to take a dive. But Chance is unprepared for his desire to help Eva (Grace Park), Prentiss' disenchanted girlfriend, and his need to keep his close friends safe.
Risk Assessment: Due to unforeseen circumstances, I wasn't able to provide a report on last week's episode, "Baptiste." It's a shame, because "Baptiste" is easily my favorite episode of the series. Not only does it feature a memorable turn from "Snatch" actor Lennie Jones, but it stares deeply into the soul of Christopher Chance — who is this enigmatic man we've been watching so far? What was he doing training assassins? Why do so many people want him dead?
I'm glad...
