Ken Jones was born on February 20, 1930 in Liverpool, England. He was an actor, known for The Squirrels (1974), Jude (1996) and Jesus of Nazareth (1977). He was married to Sheila Fay. He died on February 13, 2014 in Prescot, Merseyside, England.

Trivia (4)

RADA-trained Liverpudlian character actor, who specialised in portraying seedy or shifty working class types. Seen to best effect as Rex in "The Squirrels", boxing trainer Dave Locket in "Seconds Out" and as 'Orrible Ives' in "Porridge".
Best known for his role as "Horrible" Ives alongside with 'Ronnie Barker' in the British sitcom 'Porridge'.
He started acting in amateur dramatics groups in Liverpool. He retired to Wales about 10 years ago before his death.
He was evacuated in 1942 at the height of WWII, along with two of his four brothers and sisters.
