Over 50% of men believe they are the funniest people they know

Most men believe they are the funniest person in their social circle, according to a new survey. Research from Old Jamaica found that 55% of men think they are funnier than everyone else they know, compared to 22% of women. Senior brand manager Heather Jones said: "One thing we did notice was how much more confident men were than women when it came to comedy. "Men also keep more jokes up their sleeves, being able to tell an average of five funnies from memory; more than doubling the two that women can recall." 'Eclipse' Fans Love Movie's Tent Scene, Faster Pace

Twilighters at the movie's midnight screening call this the best of the three 'Twilight' movies.

We're not sure if you've heard, but "Eclipse" is out now. Fans all across the U.S.A were already lining up for midnight screenings on Tuesday night to be some of the first to catch the third film in the "Twilight Saga." MTV News caught up with New York City Twi-hards before the show, and we were also on hand to talk to Los Angeles fans as they streamed out of the theater.

The consensus among the West Coast Twilighters we spoke to is that David Slade's take on the vampire tale rocked.

"Best movie! It was actually the whole tent scene. Love the tent scene; it was a battle between Edward and Jacob. It was amazing!

MTV U.K. ushers in youth channel Viva

MTV U.K. ushers in youth channel Viva
London -- MTV U.K. is scrapping its seven-year-old music station Tmf and replacing it with a new comedy and youth channel Viva, which will launch Oct. 26 on satcaster BSkyB, cable operator Virgin Media and free-to-air digital platform Freeview, it was announced Friday.

Featuring such fare as "The Hills," "Scream Queens," "South Park" and "Two and a Half Men," the channel is being billed as "a completely new channel" that is "not simply a new-look Tmf," according to MTV director of television Heather Jones.

Music content on the channel will include the U.K. charts and shows featuring such stars as Lady Gaga, Leona Lewis and Kelly Rowland.

A localized version of Viva, aimed at 16- to 34-year-olds, has been on the air in Germany since 1993, and local version also broadcast in Austria, Poland, Hungary and Switzerland.
