One of Salem’s most unpredictable residents is popping back in for a visit.

Tamara Braun, who portrayed Mafia princess Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives in 2008, will return for the soap’s upcoming 50th anniversary.

According to TVInsider, Braun will make her entrance in the Dec. 9 episode.

The actress, who won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2009 for her portrayal of Ava, has also appeared on the series as Taylor Walker, estranged sister of Nicole Walker.

Melissa Leo Will Play the Lady Bird Johnson to Bryan Cranston’s Lyndon B. Johnson

On Wednesday HBO announced that Marvel's Falcon Anthony Mackie would play Martin Luther King Jr. to Bryan Cranston's Lyndon B. Johnson in its adaptation of the Robert Schenkann play All the Way, which won best play from the Tonys, along with a win for Cranston. But every Johnson needs a Lady Bird, and the woman who will play the Southern aristocrat (née Claudia Alta Taylor) is none other than Oscar winner Melissa Leo. Don't expect any car blow job, though. »
