We couldn’t close out 2013 without at least one more big DC movie rumor – and it is sure to be a doozy. It’s been a year that brought us a new Superman in Man of Steel; a new Batman in Ben Affleck; a big-screen Wonder Woman in Gal Gadot – and rumors of so much more to come on both movie and TV screens. And, as of late, rumors of some huge stars possibly joining the DC movie team.

Finally, fans are getting their first official look at the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy." Marvel has released the first image from the movie, featuring "Parks and Recreation" star Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista (Batista in WWE) and Zoe Saldana, along with characters voiced by Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.
Pratt, who plays Star-Lord in the movie, told Zap2it that he was hoping to inject a bit of himself into the character. "There have been a lot of incarnations of this character over the years and I think what's nice about James Gunn, who's directing this, is he really wants this to be an organic and sort of real character that I can breath my own spirit into," he said.
Bautista portrays Drax the Destroyer and is currently preparing for a return to WWE on Jan. 20. He will be the second wrestler-turned-action star to return to the wrestling business, after Dwayne Johnson. »

The actor was once being considered for the lead in the now-defunct Shazam!, where he would have portrayed Black Adam. That movie has been put on indefinite hold due to its similarities to Man of Steel. With Batman Vs. Superman threatening to add »

Back in July , Vin Diesel took to social media to tease that he had met with Marvel Studios about a mystery role, later revealed to be that of Groot in James Gunn's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy . "We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014," Johnson responded to a fan asking if he'd ever play a comic book character. "[W]e will partner up and create the cool bad assert." Director: Michael Bay
Running Time: 129 Mins
When the words ‘Michael Bay’ are uttered in any film related chat or debate, the mind typically associates the director with explosions, destruction and the demolition of very expensive cars. For those of you that don’t know, Michael Bay is the director of incredibly successful, popcorn entertainment films such as Armageddon and the Transformers trilogy. These films are known for their numerous forms of eye candy seen in the shape of scantly-clad women and worldwide devastation, rather than their narrative or intellectual subtext.
Pain And Gain however, offers something a little bit different from what audiences have come to expect from Bay in the form of a serious drama based on true events. The film revolves around a man named Daniel Lugo (Wahlberg) who is obsessed by »

History is Remade If a Few ‘Minor Details’ Ignored.”) As further evidence that moviegoers want original, quality entertainment, below you’ll find a list of the top 15 movies at the domestic box office in 2013 — nine of which are sequels or reboots (ten if you include Oz the Great and Powerful), and more than half of which are 3D releases. Disney and Warner Bros. were the two top studios in 2013. Disney has five movies among the top 15; Warners has three. With the exception of the sleeper blockbuster Gravity, which, however dumbed down, targeted a more mature audience, every single one of the titles below were aimed either at teenagers/very, »

Jordan Belfort, the former financier who pulled off, in the words of EW’s review of Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, “one of the most brazen and boneheaded scams in history,” is hoping to star in a reality TV show. Electus, the studio behind Fashion Star, Mob Wives, and Dwayne Johnson’s The Hero, sought out Belfort, an ex-con who now works as a motivational speaker. Electus CEO Chris Grant tells The Hollywood Reporter that networks have been taken with Belfort, who’d help others looking for redemption: “He was described to us after leaving the room as ‘TV gold, »

Before Dwayne Johnson dons the sandals for Hercules, Twilight star Kellan Lutz is set to appear as the mythological Greek hero in director Renny Harlin's (Die Hard 2, Cliffhanger) The Legend of Hercules, and with its North American release now less than two weeks away, Summit Entertainment has debuted four clips from the action fantasy; check them out after the official synopsis....
"In Ancient Greece 1200 B.C., a queen succumbs to the lust of Zeus to bear a son promised to overthrow the tyrannical rule of the king and restore peace to a land in hardship. But this prince, Hercules, knows nothing of his real identity or his destiny. He desires only one thing: the love of Hebe, Princess of Crete, who has been promised to his own brother. When Hercules learns of his greater purpose, he must choose: to flee with his true love or to fulfill his »

Unless you count a lot of grunting as dialogue, then Hercules (played by Kellen Lutz) apparently has very little dialogue in Renny Harlin’s “The Legend of Hercules”. At least, according to these four clips from the movie, which is in keeping with the final trailer for the film, which similarly gave the star very little dialogue. In fact, in that trailer, you had to wait almost 90 seconds into the 2-minute trailer to hear Herc say anything. Needless to say, I don’t think Dwayne Johnson and Brett Ratner will have a lot to worry about when it comes to getting more bang for their Hercules buck in the coming year. While “The Legend of Hercules” may be hitting theaters first, the, er, wanting nature of this movie might just make everyone long for the Brett Ratner-directed version. Which, yes, is something I didn’t think I’d ever write in my lifetime. »
The Ufc fight between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman took an unexpected turn on Dec. 28 when Silva broke his leg while trying to kick his opponent -- the only person he'd previously ever lost a fight to.
The break was gruesome and horrifying and led to some calling the incident the worst in Ufc's history. It is even speculated that the injury could end Silva's career.
"There's no real excitement in a fight finishing like that because you never want to see anyone get hurt like that," Weidman says after the match.
Many took to Twitter to express their shock over the incident, including many celebrities. If you ever wondered which of your favorite celebs watch the Ultimate Fighting Championships, here is your answer.
Below is a collection of celebrity reactions to Silva's leg breaking.
That was an awful thing to see. And worse to hear . #Silva

There was a time when the names Brett Ratner and Renny Harlin were almost synonymous, as both have made careers out of generally silly action films. The fact that they.re both releasing Hercules movies in 2014 is such a delight to me, and while Ratner.s Hercules team-up with Dwayne Johnson will undoubtedly be a better experiences, part of me is pretty geared up for Harlin.s insanely over-the-top The Legend of Hercules. We get to see quite a bit of the battle scenes in these four new clips, plus Kellan Lutz.s titular character nearing a possibly forbidden makeout session with Hebe (Gaia Weiss). While I.m sure it wasn.t against any laws for Lutz to wear a shirt during the production of this film, there must have been some kind of a contractual obligation warning against it. I would admittedly rather be a 10-year-old boy watching The »
During an interview with Coming Soon to promote the release of his latest film, the music documentary Justin Bieber's Believe, director Jon M. Chu has offered an update on the status of G.I. Joe 3, specifically playing down the speculation stemming from his earlier comments about the possibility of Channing Tatum reprising the role of Duke, despite the character's demise in G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
"It all gets carried away again. They asked me about Channing and I don't know. You never know in these movies, and that's all I said, and suddenly it became 'Channing Tatum might be back.' To me, every possibility is open and we're writing the script right now and we're figuring everything out. It's an extremely low possibility when you kill somebody like that, it's pretty much it, but you never know with G.I. Joe. We did that with Storm Shadow too."

Sasha Stone makes pleas for some underdogs now that Oscar voters have their ballots. Her top choice for Best Picture is "All is Lost," the J.C. Chandor film she calls "a moving meditation, a cinematic poem about life." Stone also makes the case for a Martin Scorsese directing bid and his "astonishing" work on "The Wolf of Wall Street." Among the acting categories, she would like to see nods for Robert Redford ("All is Lost"), Amy Adams ("Her"), and Will Forte ("Nebraska"). Awards Daily. Celebrating the stars who died in 2013, EW asked their friends or admirers to write reflections. The special section offers Jamie-Lynn Sigler on James Gandolfini; Dwayne Johnson on Paul Walker; Martin Scorsese on Roger Ebert; Mick Rock on Lou Reed; Ryan Murphy on Cory Monteith; Sally Struthers on Jean Stapleton; Brad Paisley on George Jones; Paul Anka on Annette Funicello; Jimmy Kimmel on Jonathan Winters; Mackenzie Philli. »
It was all the way back in 2006 that director Peter Segal became attached to direct the DC Comics movie Shazam!, a superhero film about the character best known as Captain Marvel. The project made a good amount of progress building towards production, landing John August to pen the script and Dwayne Johnson to play the villainous Black Adam, but despite its efforts the film wound up falling in Hollywood's dreaded development hell anyway. Given how popular comic book movies are nowadays, it's strange to think that a project as high profile as Shazam! could fall apart, but now the director has revealed to Coming Soon exactly what happened behind the scenes. While Black Adam may have been Captain Marvel's big screen foe, the character's biggest enemy behind the scenes of Hollywood is Superman. According to Segal, Captain Marvel has always had a problem co-existing with the Man of Steel, as »

A few days ago, "GI Joe: Retaliation" director Jon Chu hinted that Channing Tatum may return for the third "GI Joe" installment. In a new interview, the helmer tried to clarify his statements. Spoilers Ahead: "They asked me about Channing and I don't know. You never know in these movies, and that's all I said, and suddenly it became 'Channing Tatum might be back,'" he explained.
