Studied at the Drama School "Ernst Busch" in Berlin from 1997 to 2001.
Has been an ensemble member of the Munich Kammerspiele since 2001.

Beside her critically acclaimed roles in three movies, she has been the leading actress in three stage productions at Munich Kammerspiele: "Antigone", "Die Nibelungen" and "Die zehn Gebote" since 2004.
She and Lena Stolze won the Film Award in Gold at the German Film Awards as "Best Actress" for portraying Sophie Scholl
Plays the piano.
According to an interview in Süddeutsche Zeitung, she hates being in the center of attention because the ensemble of a project is always more important than her person.
