The Laura Dern series "Enlightened" was given a sophomore year by the network, but sadly "Bored to Death" and "Hung" were axed. The other series "How to Make it in America," one that never caught on with us, also bit the dust. HBO moves ahead with David Milch's "Luck" featuring Dustin Hoffman, Nick Nolte, Dennis Farina, Gary Stevens, and Tom Payne, Also Aaron Sorkin.s untitled series starring Olivia Munn, plus Ricky Gervais. "Life.s Too Short", "Veep", "Girls", and the Aussie Trailer Park Boys-esque "Angry Boys." Fans (M&C included) of "Hung" will miss the bittersweet tale of Ray (Jane) and his quest to survive a terrible economy by using his biggest asset. Also starring Lennie James (The Walking »

Happy Holidays fans of Enlightened, HBO has given you a gift by renewing the first-year series with its second season. As for fans of Bored to Death, Hung, and How to Make it in America, I’m afraid you were given a lump of coal in your stockings. HBO cancelled all three series after Hung and Bored to Death failed to reach a wider audience after three seasons. How to Make it in America had just two seasons, same result. Still as beloved as these shows were by their most avid fans, HBO has to make hard decisions too.
With marginal ratings, HBO will move forward and beef up their network with six new shows including Dustin Hoffman’s horseracing drama, Luck featuring Nick Nolte, Dennis Farina, Gary Stevens, and Tom Payne, Aaron Sorkin’s untitled series starring Olivia Munn, Ricky Gervais’ Life’s Too Short, Veep, Girls, and Angry Boys. »

Lockout Trailer, Ms One: Maximum Security Trailer. James Mather, Stephen St. Leger‘s Lock-Out / Ms One: Maximum Security (2012) movie trailer stars Guy Pearce, Maggie Grace, Peter Stormare, Lennie James, and Vincent Regan. Lock-Out‘s plot synopsis: “A man (Pearce) wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the Us is offered freedom if he can rescue the president’s daughter (Maggie Grace) from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.”
We previously posted the Lock-Out (2012) International Movie Trailer.
I am going to see this film just for the jokes. This action film looks funny. Many people are saying Guy Pearce’s character is a replica of S.D. Plissken from Escape to New York. Snake was not a smartass like the character in this film is, he was insolent.
Lockout also stars Jacky Ido, Tim Plester, Anne-Solenne Hatte, Gary Hetzler, Yan Dron, Charlie Kranz, and Patrick Cauderlier.

Let's not beat around the bush here. Guy Pearce is awesome and should probably be in every movie ever. Whether he's playing a tortured tough guy in a crappy situation in "Memento" or a tortured tough guy in a crappy situation in "The Hurt Locker" or a tortured tough guy in a crappy situation in "L.A. Confidential," Pearce has proven time and time again that his a-game when it comes to playing manly men is in no short supply.
However, not content on just being the world's favorite badass Australian (sorry, Russell Crowe), Pearce has decided to come back with some new material with ten times the space shootouts.
In "Escape from M.S. One" (or various iterations on "Ms One: Security Maximum," "Ms One: Maximum Security," depending on who you ask), Pearce plays a tortured tough guy (see a pattern here?) who has to rescue the president's daughter »

Earlier this month we showed you a great little trailer for a new sci-fi thriller action film called Lock Out starring Guy Pearce, and this movie looks freakin' awesome! It's got a great cast, a solid story, and Pearce plays a very fun likable badass character. I was sold on this film after watching the first trailer, but this new one is much better.
The story follows a man who is wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. He's offered his freedom if he can rescue the president's daughter from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.
The movie written and directed by James Mather and Stephen St. Leger, and also stars Maggie Grace, Peter Stormare, Lennie James, Vincent Regan, Tim Plester, Anne-Solenne Hatte, Yan Dron, Patrick Cauderlier, Milorad Kapor, Bojan Peric and Mark Tankersley. The movie is set to be released on April »

Once we nail down a title and get our punctuation in order, I’ll have an less-stressful time looking forward to this upcoming space action flick. Formerly Lock-Out (or Lockout, or Lock-out) the Luc Besson-produced film is now either called Escape From M.S. One, Ms One: Security Maximum, M.S. One: Maximum Security, Escape From Ms One, Ms One: Maximum Security or Ms One: Security Maximum. Phew. Well, whatever it ends up being it at least looks like a bit of cheesy fun.
Guy Pearce plays a convict that is sent to a space prison to extract the president’s daughter (Maggie Grace). We had an initial trailer for the James Mather and Stephen St. Leger-directed sci-fi action film, but the latest shows off even more. We have freeway chases, a shotgun-wielding Pearce, space fights and more. It sounds like exactly what I’d want from a film like this. »

About a week ago a trailer showed up online for Lockout, a sci-fi action thriller whose biggest selling points are its cast – which includes Guy Pearce (Memento), Maggie Grace (Lost), Peter Stormare (Armageddon) and Lennie James (Jericho) – and the fact that it was co-written/produced by action movie guru, Luc Besson (The Professional, The Fifth Element).
Unfortunately, the Lockout trailer was leaked material that didn’t properly represent what the film was about (which is why you won’t find it here on Screen Rant ) – the film has apparently dumped the “Lockout” title in favor of Ms One: Maximum Security, and now we have a more official trailer to share with you.
Check out the synopsis for Ms One: Maximum Security below, ...

Lockout Trailer. James Mather, Stephen St. Leger‘s Lockout (2012) international movie trailer stars Guy Pearce, Maggie Grace, Peter Stormare, Lennie James, and Vincent Regan. Lockout‘s plot synopsis: “A man (Pearce) wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the Us is offered freedom if he can rescue the president’s daughter (Maggie Grace) from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.”
Guy Pearce’s character does not give a damn in this movie trailer and its hilarious, almost as good Steve Austin‘s questioning scene in The Condemned. That what happens when you feel betrayed by your own country then they come back to you for a favor.
On another note, the montage at the end of this trailer is shabby, badly done.
Lockout also stars Jacky Ido, Tim Plester, Anne-Solenne Hatte, Gary Hetzler, Yan Dron, Charlie Kranz, and Patrick Cauderlier.

Hey, Hung fans. We’ve got a new exclusive preview clip from the Hung Season 3 finale. The fallout from Tanya’s (Jane Adams) relationship with Charlie (Lennie James) is about to effect Ray (Thomas Jane) and Tanya’s wellness business in a major way. In this clip, we see Tanya and Ray arguing because the Wellness Center has gone under. It seems that posting bail for a fellow pimp wasn’t such a good business idea after all – even if that pimp was a mentor. Unfortunately, it looks like Tanya is about to learn another harsh lesson in the pimp game. I guess it’s true what they say: pimp’n ain’t easy. [Photo by Lacey Terrell/HBO]

The Walking Dead is one of the most gripping TV shows to grace the box, and millions of people tune in weekly, making it the most watched cable show ever. But if they want to keep us watching the show’s makers could do with making a few changes - because as good as the first two episodes of season two were, there was still plenty of room for improvement in a number of areas - not least of all character and story development.
[Spoilers follow]
1. Ditch the glitz.
Running from those flesh-eating hordes, you'd expect personal hygiene to take a backseat, so why does Rick Grimes' wife Lori look like she has her hair and make up done professionally every day? “Bloodletting” is a title you could give to pretty much any episode of AMC’s gore-drenched, zombie-filled Walking Dead. But it was a particularly apt one for Sunday night’s show, which found the stricken Carl (Chandler Riggs) being given transfusions of the red stuff from his father Rick (Andrew Lincoln) following the young ‘un’s shooting at the end of the season premiere. Said transfusions took place on a farm belonging to new character Hershel (Scott Wilson), a venue that seems likely to be the characters’ base for the next few episodes (at least those who can get there alive. »

We’ve got an exclusive new clip from Hung Episode 3.4, “F**ck Me Mr. Drecker” or “Let’s Not Go to Jail”. See clip below: Season 3 began on a positive note for Ray Drecker (Thomas Jane) and his partner/pimp Tanya Skagle (Jane Adams). The two started an off-shoot male prostitution business outside of the shadow of Lenore (Rebecca Creskoff). There were a few road blocks along the way – including opposition from an upstart, younger male whore named Jason (Stephen Amell) and a scuffle between Lenore and Tanya – but for the most part business has been good. However, Episode 3.3 introduced the first major – non Lenore related – hurdle to Tanya and Ray’s business. Ray’s Rambo client, Lydia, doesn’t like to play dress up as a cop. Rambo is a cop. Episode 3.3 ended with Lydia walking into the diner, where Tanya and Charlie (Lennie James) were seated. Charlie had »
