He is a producer and actor, known for Woman Thou Art Loosed (2004), Woman Thou Art Loosed: On the 7th Day (2012) and Get Ready: The Best of T.D. Jakes (2000). He has been married to Serita Jakes since May 29, 1982. They have five children.
