Any scoop about Callie and Arizona on Grey's Anatomy? — Marija

Adam: When the Chief offers $1 million to the department of the hospital that best demonstrates need, Callie's and Arizona's feelings for one another do not put a damper on their competitive spirit. "Callie turns into a very competitive person and actually starts running around trying to intimidate everyone," Sara Ramirez says. "[She] does this hilarious passive-aggressive thing that was fun to play. She's trying to psych everybody out."

I was surprised to see Terri on Glee. She's been Mia for so long ... yet she's a series regular (or at least »

TV Review: ‘$#*! My Dad Says’ With William Shatner is Lost in Translation

23 September 2010 6:53 AM, PDT | HollywoodChicago.com | See recent HollywoodChicago.com news »

Chicago – Laugh tracks are a dying breed. Think of classic, full-throttle laugh tracks from “The Jeffersons,” “The Beverly Hillbillies” and “Full House.” Today, though some major shows feature canned laughter, it has been much-pointed out that some of the best comedies on TV, by definition, are auspiciously missing a laugh track—think “Modern Family,” “The Office,” and “30 Rock,” to name a few.

Television Rating: 1.5/5.0

If the Internet naysayers are right, if a sitcom that uses a laugh track is the TV equivalent of the lady who protests too much, then that could be one explanation why CBS’s “$#*! My Dad Says” is not too funny. “$#*!” features some of the loudest canned laughter heard on TV in a while, and if the behind-the-scenes stories emerging from the production are any indication, the producers have inserted the boisterous inanimate laughter to drown out the bad buzz. Parent protests over an indecent title »

Criminal Minds 6.01 “The Longest Night” Review

22 September 2010 7:52 PM, PDT | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Photo: Ron P. Jaffe, CBS

Let me first say that I wasn’t overly impressed with the cliffhanger ending from last season. I think the show has done better with finales in the past, so I went into the season six premiere of Criminal Minds hoping that the conclusion would be stronger than the set up. Season five ended with with “Our Darkest Hour,” in which a longtime serial killer came back to Los Angeles during rolling blackouts which he used to his killer advantage. He was able to kidnap Ellie Spicer, daughter of Detective Matt Spicer, who just so happened to be the child involved in his first murder. He killed Spicer’s parents and allowed him to live and believed he was the reason Spicer became an officer. Tonight’s conclusion was entitled “The Longest Night” and it was written and directed by Cm veteran Edward Allen Bernero. »

CBS Radically Shuffles Schedule, Moves ‘Survivor,’ ‘Big Bang Theory’

19 May 2010 7:29 AM, PDT | HollywoodChicago.com | See recent HollywoodChicago.com news »

Chicago – CBS announced their fall schedule today. While fans of canceled “Accidentally on Purpose,” “Cold Case,” “Gary Unmarried,” “Numb3rs,” “The Ghost Whisperer,” and “The New Adventures of Old Christine” may disagree, the big TV news of the week is that several of the top network’s biggest shows are moving. “Survivor” jumps to Wednesday nights, “The Big Bang Theory” moves to Thursdays, “CSI: NY” slides to Fridays, and “CSI: Miami” now goes down on Sundays.

As far as on-the-bubble renewals are concerned, CBS saved “Rules of Engagement” and “Medium”. The rest of their renewals were pretty obvious choices as the network continues to air many of the biggest hits on TV including the #1 drama (“NCIS”), #1 comedy (“Two and a Half Men”), #1 new series (“Undercover Boss”), #1 news magazine (“60 Minutes”), #1 new drama (“NCIS: Los Angeles”), and #1 scripted series for the 18-49 and 25-54 demos (“The Big Bang Theory”).

Of course, all of those shows are returning, »

The television landscape is full of tough female cops, and Wednesday's episode of CSI: NY proves that Detective Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) deserves to be counted among the toughest.

Check out photos of the CSI: NY cast

"We're always in danger, but Stella has this bizarre empowerment," Kanakaredes tells TVGuide.com. "She almost died in Season 2 by someone she cared about. Now, she's fearless about life-or-death situations. It's like Rambo Stella."

In Wednesday's episode (10/9c, CBS), Kanakaredes and her character will have to live up to that moniker...
