Eli Wallach, Anne Jackson Eli Wallach and wife Anne Jackson arrive at the 2011 Academy Awards ceremony held last Sunday at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. Eli Wallach, 95, was the recipient of an Honorary Oscar at a November 2010 ceremony. Wallach's film debut took place in Elia Kazan’s Baby Doll in 1956. Since then he has been featured in more than 150 movies and television shows. Joel Coen and Ethan Coen are among the few filmmakers who I love so much that I own every single one of their movies. Yes, even The Hudsucker Proxy and The Ladykillers. Even if you haven't watched every one, you've probably noticed that they have a penchant for casting many of the same actors in numerous projects.
