Natalie Jackson Mendoza was born in Hong Kong of a Filipina/Spanish Jazz musician father and German/English mother (Batenburg/Mount Batten family).She had a bohemian upbringing with her 6 artist siblings upbringing living all over the world in South East Asia, Australia , England and NYC. She was raised as a child in Hong Kong and Australia. She studied Classical Acting at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School UK and Playhouse West LA. She started her early career as a classical dancer and moved into singing and performing lead roles in Theatre such as Spiderman Turn off The Dark Broadway, Les Miserables,Miss Saigon, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,Ghost, Lord of the Rings, CATS and many more. After studying classical acting she moved onto do many plays including Romeo and Juliet,Coup D'Etat, 5 Kinds of Silence and many more. She has been doing film and television from a young age. She is best known for the Descent 1 &2 and her lead role of Jackie Clunes in BBC's drama Hotel Babylon.She most recently appeared in the British classic Midsomer Murders as Sasha Fleetwood. Discovered by Bono and Edge after beating over 3000 people for the coveted role of Arachne in 2011 Natalie has moved onto writing and developing her own trilogy and album she will be releasing later next year. She had a record deal with Virgin Records as a teenager in Punk pop band. She is recording 2 albums this year with Grammy Award winning producer Glen Ballard. Natalie also wrote , directed and produced the short film Crazy in which she won Best Film, Best Writer and Best Director for the 72 hr Film Festival held in LA 2011. Natalie is also directing her first feature slated for release next year.
