Hugh Jackman Frolicking on the Beach With His Trainer Is Honestly What Life Is About

11 August 2017 8:06 PM, PDT | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

Hugh Jackman always knows how to have a good time. The actor, who is usually more like the friendliest big kid you'll ever meet rather than a 48-year-old, never fails to make us laugh when he's on a red carpet or doing an interview, but there's just something about the beach that brings out a whole new side to him. The father of two kicked off his weekend by working out with his personal trainer on Bondi Beach in his native Australia (Dad bod? More like daddy bod). While Hugh hit the waves in typical swimming trunks, his trainer rocked a tiny Speedo. If that wasn't enough to get your attention, the two appeared to have a hilarious race in the sand to cap off their outing. Oh, Hugh. Never change. Wolverine and Storm Were Secret Lovers in the X-Men Movies

10 August 2017 6:39 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

The X-Men franchise has moved on from Bryan Singer's original cast, which was really put to bed when Hugh Jackman hung up the claws as Wolverine in Logan. X-Men: First Class, despite not being a well-liked movie by many fans and critics, did introduce us to a new generation of younger actors who are playing the core X-Men team. But Halle Berry will always be remembered as Storm and she has just revealed some pretty surprising info about her tenure with the franchise. According to Berry, Storm and Wolverine were hooking up.

Halle Berry recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly and the subject of her time as Storm, which started back with the first X-Men movie back in 2000, and that is when she decided to make the reveal. This isn't just some tossed away thing she fabricated on her own, mind you. This is actually a thing. Here's what Halle Berry »

'Avengers 4' Starts Production: "Beginning the End"

The trailer for Avengers: Infinity War isn't even out yet (at least, not officially), but the Russo Bros. are already on to the next installment.

The directors on Thursday posted a teaser image marking the begin of filming for Avengers 4, and appropriately, it's a glove showing off four digits. (Remind anyone of Hugh Jackman's three-clawed tease for what became Logan?). No word on who the glove belongs to, but the Russo's Facebook page has plenty of entertaining theories from fans, including commenters speculating it belongs to Captain America or time-traveling villain Kang the »

Halle Berry Says Storm And Wolverine Were Lovers In The X-Men Movies

10 August 2017 12:09 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

There’ve been several romantic trysts between the X-Men members across the many movies in the franchise that we’ve seen so far. Rogue and Iceman, Jean Grey and Cyclops, Professor X and Magneto (Ok, that might not actually be canon)…but here’s one you might not have known about before.

Apparently, Storm and Wolverine were once lovers. While talking with EW, Halle Berry – who played the weather-warping Ororo Munroe in the series – revealed that the pair “had a thing” before Logan’s feelings for Jean became too strong.

“Storm and Logan used to be lovers, It’s true. Storm and Logan had a thing … I joke in the movies, I’m like, How come nobody’s loving on Storm. Like what’s wrong with Storm? Nobody is checking for Storm .. So, we decided that Storm and Logan had a thing, and then Jean came and messed that up »

Running times: when to go for a pee during classic movies

The app RunPee buzzes in your pocket when a boring bit is coming up in a film, so you can go to the toilet without missing anything. So what’s the safest time to nip out in Casablanca or The Godfather?

Even the corniest summer blockbusters now regularly clock in at two-and-a-half hours. So perhaps it should be no surprise that RunPee, an iPhone app advising film viewers when to step out for a wee, is a runaway success. Start the app when you sit down to watch a film, and it will buzz in your pocket when a boring bit long enough for a loo break is coming up. The app was launched in 2008 by American developer Dan Florio and has attracted positive testimonials from stars including Rashida Jones and Stephen Fry. Hugh Jackman says it was recommended to him by Anne Hathaway.

Incredible Digital Work On ‘Logan’ Revealed Via New Featurette

9 August 2017 1:30 AM, PDT | The Hollywood News | See recent The Hollywood News news »

It’s amazing what they can do in the movies these days, isn’t it? The film is on the home formats now, but Logan remains as one of the best movies of the year, but its awesomeness continues to wow as more and more about its technical attributes are revealed.

Here’s a brand new featurette from effects house Image Engine who have posted to Vimeo a before and after look at some of the incredible effects work used in the film.

What is remarkable about this is that it appears that Hugh Jackman’s face was digitally fixed upon stunt doubles in post-production at various points throughout the movie, the seams of which are invisible in the film itself.

How Zendaya Fell in Love With Spider-Man and Launched a Movie Career

8 August 2017 6:00 AM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Growing up in Oakland, Calif., Zendaya knew from an early age that she wanted to be an actress. But her contributions to Hollywood aren’t limited to starring in the Disney Channel sitcom “K.C. Undercover,” where she portrays a savant daughter in a family of spies. She also produces the show, has emerged as a millennial fashion icon, sings, dances (as seen on “Dancing With the Stars”) and manufactures her own line of clothes for young people.

Branching out into movies was more daunting. “There were a lot of opportunities that weren’t really what I wanted to do,” says Zendaya, who is 20. “I think a lot of people look at me in a certain way because I’ve been on the Disney Channel a long time.”

Indeed, it’s hard out there for a Disney star. Many of them, in a hurry to grow up too fast, crash and burn, while »

Luke Cage Actress Alfre Woodard Climbs Aboard The Lion King At Disney

7 August 2017 12:52 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Casting on Jon Favreau’s live-action rendition of The Lion King is now beginning to enter the home stretch. And what an ensemble it has in tow.

From Donald Glover (Han Solo, Spider-Man: Homecoming) leading the charge as Simba to the great James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa, Disney’s modern reimagining hasn’t been left wanting for A-list talent. That starry cast has now expanded by one, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that Luke Cage actress Alfre Woodard has signed on to voice Sarabi, Simba’s doting mother.

Before storming the streets of Harlem as the devious Mariah Dillard, Woodard collected roles on Burning Sands and State of Affairs, and will next be seen in Saint Judy. For The Lion King, however, she joins an ensemble that already includes Billy Eichner and Seth Rogen as meerkat/warthog double act Timon and Pumbaa, not to mention the Oscar-nominated Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar. »
