NBC's pilot "Mockingbird Lane" has added another member to its monstrous family.
Mason Cook will play Eddie Munster in the show, Deadline reports. He joins Eddie Izzard (Grandpa) and Charity Wakefield (regular human cousin Marilyn) in the cast of "Pushing Daisies" creator Bryan Fuller's project, which is taking the hammy 1960s sitcom "The Munsters" and re-imagining it as a one-hour dramedy.
The 11-year-old Cook ("Spy Kids 4," "The Middle") will play an Eddie who's having a lot of trouble coming to terms with the fact that he's a werewolf and has stopped eating meat as a result.
"Mockingbird Lane" was part of NBC's pilot roster this season, but the network and studio Universal TV pushed back production until the summer in order to get the right cast. The roles of Herman and Lily have yet to be filled. Because of the late start on production, the show will likely be »

British actor Eddie Izzard has pulled out of his charity marathon challenge after suffering "unforeseen medical complications".
The comedian had planned to run 27 marathons in 27 consecutive days in honour of former South African president Nelson Mandela.
He worked out his running route around sites important to the anti-apartheid leader's history, including where Mandela grew up, and kicked off the challenge last week (ends20May12).
But he's been forced to abandon his attempts to complete the mega-marathon due to health concerns and tough running conditions.
In a post on his Facebook.com page on Thursday, he writes, "I set out to run 27 marathons in 27 days as a tribute to Nelson Mandela and his 27 years spent in prison.
"Having completed four marathons, unfortunately, I have had to put my attempt on hold due to unforeseen medical complications that have arisen due to a multitude of factors including severe terrain, humidity and altitude. But I wish to say that my attempt is not over and I will return to South Africa and run the 27 marathons and finish this story.
"I owe that to Nelson Mandela who has inspired the world to struggle and succeed no matter what obstacles are thrown at us." »

Wha….I can’t….the mustache even….so much beauty…ruined. Can “Give it some low lights” be the new “Kill it with fire”? I obviously don’t want Nick Offerman (and, subsequently, Ron Swanson) to perish in flames, but seeing him covered in a golden fur at the Peabody Awards last night is triggering some kind of flight-or-fight response in my brain stem. If Parks and Rec were more like Family Matters, this would be Nick Offerman’s cousin Shawn from Miami, and he’d have some sick tribal tatts he needs to show you at your earliest convenience. Or the man has a secret Eddie Izzard biopic in the works, one of the two. (via Buzzfeed) »

Twilight's Kristen Stewart spotted in upside down trouble in new Snow White movie pic. We recently got this new photo from the upcoming "Snow White and the Huntsman" flick, and it looks pretty interesting as it features Twilight Saga hottie Kristen Stewart, hanging upside down with the her huntsman co-star Chris Hemsworth. It looks like she's gotten herself into a little trouble when her character Snow White gets captured by the 8 dwarves for the first time. That's right. They have 8 dwarves instead of the traditional 7 as this movie continues to make slight breaks in the traditional Snow White storyline we grew up with. It stars: Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Graham, Ray Winstone, Lily Cole, Sam Spruell, Liberty Ross, and Noah Huntley. Twilight's Kristen Stewart spotted sexy belly shirt hot at Snow White New Mexico yesterday. Yesterday afternoon,Twilight Saga hottie Kristen Stewart took her big "Snow White and the Huntsman" press tour down, south of the border into Mexico City, and looked smoking hot in a short blouse that showed off her sexy, flat, tummy. I also liked the stylish gray pants. She wore them well as she posed with her Prince Charming co-star Sam Claflin. According to sources, K-Stew and Sam, hit up a Swath press conference at the St. Regis Hotel, and appeared to have a blast, posing it up for the pap cams. The movie is scheduled to hit nationwide theaters in the United States on June 1st,2012,and it looks ten times better in the theaters than on a small computer screen. I mean, that damn thing is going to be intense and very entertaining for sure. »
