The Player Draft witnessed all six teams – Atlanta Fire, California Knights, Morrisville Unity, New Jersey Legends, New York Warriors and Texas Chargers – construct explosive line-ups for the tournament, set to be held later this year.
The New Jersey Legends will have three 2011 World Cup-winning players Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh and Yusuf Pathan enthralling the crowd along with Liam Plunkett, Albie Morkel, Naman Ojha, Jesse Ryder, Chris Barnwell, Stuart Binny, Rp Singh, Bipul Sharma, Craig Mcmillan, Tim Ambrose, Rajesh Bishnoi, Abhimanyu Mithun and Monty Panesar.

New Delhi, April 13 (Ians) Hailing Shikhar Dhawan for his splendid form in the ongoing Ipl 2023, former India cricketer Mohammed Kaif has said that Punjab Kings (Pbks) skipper is leading his team by example.
Dhawan, who played a crucial role in anchoring his side to competitive totals, is the leading run scorer in the Ipl 2023, smashing 225 runs at a strike rate of 149.00 including back-to-back unbeaten fifty-plus scores in the last two games.
The left-hander hit 86 not out against Rajasthan Royals and remained unbeaten on 99 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
“Punjab Kings’ bowling is good. The team that has a good bowling unit has a better chance of finishing in the top four in the Ipl. Shikhar Dhawan is the Khalifa of Ipl. He is in form and leading his team by example. These conditions have further boosted the chances of his team going a long way this season,” Kaif said on Star Sports’ Cricket Live Show.

Cricket aficionados can tune in to watch two T20 World Cup winning captains Paul Collingwood and Aaron Finch, the latter having played for nine Ipl franchises, providing a captain’s perspective.
Joining them will be former England and Ipl legend Kevin Pietersen, whose extensive knowledge of the sport and colourful personality has made him a fan favourite over the years.
Another fan favourite – Danny Morrison – will be seen in his elements on Star Sports’ coverage of Ipl 2023. One of the greatest all-rounders ever and a former Ipl coach Jacques Kallis makes his debut on Star Sports’ panel.

Melbourne, Dec 11 (Ians) Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf will return to the Melbourne Stars for the ongoing edition of the Big Bash League (Bbl). With changes to international commitments and scheduling, Rauf is now available to play for the club in January.
The 27-year-old made headlines in his debut Bbl 9 season, taking 20 wickets in his 10 matches, including a memorable hat trick against the Sydney Thunder and five wickets against the Hobart Hurricanes.
Uncapped by Pakistan at the beginning of last season, Rauf was called into the national side in January and made his debut in a T20I match against Bangladesh. He has since played eight T20Is and two ODIs after being called up for national duties.
"I'm very happy that I can come back to the Melbourne Stars this season and play at the McG again," Rauf said.
"It was an unbelievable journey last season and changed my life in so many ways.

Melbourne, Dec 1 (Ians) Fast bowler Dilbar Hussain has signed up with Melbourne Stars for the upcoming Big Bash League (Bbl). Hussain, who was born in Faisalabad in north eastern Pakistan, will be available for the full season.
He returns to the Stars through the club's ongoing relationship with the Lahore Qalandars - a successful connection that led to Haris Rauf's involvement with the Stars in Bbl 9.
Hussain made one appearance for the Stars last season, taking the wicket of Ab de Villiers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (McG) and said he was pleased to return to the Melbourne Stars.
"I'm very happy to be coming back to the Melbourne Stars for the Big Bash. In the short time I was with the club last season I learnt so much. I'd like to thank David Hussey who was incredibly supportive and encouraged me to keep working on my craft." Hussain said.
