- Harry Humphrey was born on December 15, 1873 in San Francisco, California, USA. He was an actor, known for Along the Rio Grande (1941), Dick Tracy's G-Men (1939) and Law and Order (1940). He died on April 1, 1947 in Los Angeles County, California, USA.
- In the 1890s, Thomas Edison chose him to work on his early phonograph records. Later, when Edison started work on talking pictures, Humphrey worked with the inventor in his South Orange laboratories.
