God Friended Me has been canceled by CBS.
It's sad, but it's true.
The two-hour series finale is slated to air Sunday, April 26, and we're not prepared to say goodbye.
The official trailer teases some high-stakes moments that would make many people believe this is a planned conclusion.
Given the way the cast has reacted to the news, it certainly seems like these final two episodes were constructed to set up a potential third season.
What we can tell from the clip is that Cory allowed the God Account to be destroyed thanks to the virus, meaning that the gang has just one friend suggestion remaining.
On a show filled with happy moments, it's hard to imagine the account not being restored in some capacity.
Then again, a wild development could have been planned to shake the show up for a potential third season.

Television said in a joint statement. “We thank the brilliant cast, writers, production team and crew for a show that stirred thoughtful conversation about faith, life and happiness, and made viewers feel good at the end of each episode. The creative team behind the show has one last ‘friend suggestion’ in mind, as well as an ending we hope brings a satisfying conclusion to Miles’ journey in search of the God Account.”

Gotham, Season 2, Episode 7, “Mommy’s Little Monster”
Written by Robert Hull
Directed by Kenneth Fink
Airs Mondays at 8pm (Et) on Fox
The season of Gotham comes to a turning point as more people are becoming well aware of Galavan’s evil plan, which may put things in his way. This is a fair time for this to happen, as Galavan has now become Mayor of Gotham City. Before having the power of the mayoral office, Galavan was already a force to be reckoned with, but now, with it, he may very well be unstoppable.
Galavan wastes no time either, initiating Marshal law for the interim until the Penguin is caught, which he does with the aid of Harvey Dent, who finally makes a return to Gotham. It makes sense that they would introduce more characters that are within Galavan’s sway, which is a good way to set up...

Once Upon A Time, Season 3, Episode 14: “The Tower”
Written by Robert Hull
Directed by Ralph Hemecker
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
Every now and then, Once Upon a Time treats us to a delightfully fear-filled episode. Usually these episodes happen around Halloween, when we are all in the mood for a good scare. However with “The Tower”, the writers decided that Halloween was coming in March this year.
Since Once Upon a Time returned to our screen three weeks ago, the writers have been doing every possible thing to make up for the monstrosity that was the first half of season three. And they have done an exceptional job redeeming themselves. With a cast as big as Once’s though, it’s very hard to keep every single character in the spotlight. This is a common problem in shows with large ensemble casts and those that avoid it,...

Once Upon A Time, Season 3, Episode 8: “Think Lovely Thoughts”
Written by David H. Goodman & Robert Hull
Directed by David Solomon
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
Once Upon a Time continues to pick up steam with this week’s “Think Lovely Thoughts”. It has suspense, drama, and a little comedy, all things that caused us to fall in love with Once back in the very beginning. “Think Lovely Thoughts” definitely maneuvers its way into the Once Hall of Fame and the writers prove to us, once again, that they still have some dandy little tricks up their sleeves.
The episode’s main focus is on saving Henry. We are also graced with another welcome glimpse into Rumplestiltskin’s past life. This story demonstrates that the writers are still very capable of creating magical episodes like those from the first season. This week they spend extra time crafting and molding Rumple’s childhood story.

Once Upon A Time, Season 3, Episode 4: “Nasty Habits”
Written by David H. Goodman & Robert Hull
Directed by David Boyd
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
This week Once Upon a Time pulls us in with a punch, literally. Neal breaks away from the lost boy that kidnapped him and the storyline dives right in. We find out quickly that the backstory this week will be about Rumple and Bae’s time in the Enchanted Forest.
Unlike the previous episode, this week’s Once holds to the usual structure, with one backstory and two present day storylines. Interestingly, within the first ten minutes the writers find a convenient way to take Tinkerbell out of the picture. This is just sad- Rose McIver is a welcome addition to the group and this takes away hope (for now) that we’ll delve further into Tinkerbell’s past and current development.

Once Upon A Time, Season 2, Episode 18: “Selfless, Brave and True”
Written by Robert Hull & Kalinda Vazquez
Directed by Ralph Hemecker
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
After a quick visit to Hong Kong where we see August (Pinocchio) turning back into wood, the titles pull up and this week’s Once Upon a Time is out of the chute.
While the episode this week does seem to focus of some pretty key story elements and its delightful to see Eion Bailey back as August; it seems to be mostly a filler episode that is setting up for the Season Finale. The episode tends to focus on August’s journey back to Storybrooke and the way/reasons why he finally returned.
One of the exiting things in the episode was seeing Snow finally getting out of her bed, in which caused her to find August living alone out in the woods.

Directed by David Solomon
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
A sentimental interaction between Belle and Rumplestiltskin is how the fourth episode of Once Upon a Time kicks off. We quickly find out that the scene is just a nightmare of Belle’s. When she goes to find Rumplestiltskin, however, we discover that he is in the basement, still experimenting with magic. Cue the opening credit scene and now the episode’s engine has started and is racing towards the finish line.
Robert Carlyle finally gets a full episode to shine this season (and not just in the glittery skin that Rumplestiltskin possesses in the past world). We have gotten to see bits and pieces of Carlyle throughout the first three episodes, but nothing like this. He takes every scene that he is in and commands it.

Here is the CW's synopsis of "The Lady Vanished," the 14th episode of the current Season Three. It airs March 15, one week after next week's "The Hurt Locket."
Rufus and Lily grow suspicious of Jenny’s relationship with Damien. Dan and Vanessa struggle with awkwardness of dating other people. Chuck learns more about the woman who may or may not be his mom.
Pretty standard stuff, and we're sure we'll learn more about the episode as it draws closer, and after "The Hurt Locket" airs. What do you think of the description?
Andrew McCarthy, '80s icon and a character in the Gossip Girl spinoff that wasn't, directed the episode, which was co-written by Amanda Lasher and Robby Hull.
If you missed it, our staff put together a special edition of its Gossip Girl Round Table in anticipation of the show's return. Read it and chime in with your views!

Blair Vs. Chuck — It’s an Upper East Side face-off when Blair (Leighton Meester) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) both set their sights on a particular item up for bid at Sotheby’s and the personal stakes are high. Serena (Blake Lively) suspects that Carter (guest star Sebastian Stan) may be up to his old habits, Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) takes an interest in Dan (Penn Badgley), and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) begins to suspect that something isn’t...
