With the roster for WWE 13 having being revealed on Saturday, there were a number of noticeable omissions, particularly in the Attitude Era Tag Team Department.
WWE ’13, Thq’s latest entry in the brawling franchise, boasts an unrivaled 87 playable characters – the largest roster of any wrestling game released to date. But alas, we’re still not quite happy.
The Attitude Era was a magical period for tag teams in the WWF. Few can forget the three way TLC matches between the Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz and Edge and Christian, or all the gimmicks and quirks that came with them, such as Scotty 2 Hotty’s ridiculous but loveable “Worm” finishing maneuver, Crash Holly’s weighing scales or Kai-en-Tai’s “Indeed!” catchphrase.
Here, What Culture brings to you 10 of the most memorable Attitude Era tag teams who we’d like to see as Dlc…
10. The Dudley Boyz

Tna World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode defeated Sting to retain his title when he used a beer battle that James Storm had left at ringside and bashed Tna’s first Hall of Fame inductee over the head with it. Sting beat-down Roode after the match and hit him with a Scorpion Death Drop off the entrance ramp.
Miss Tessmacher defeated Gail Kim to become the Tna Women’s Knockout Champion. This title changed ended Kim’s record 210-day run as champion. Christy Hemme appeared after the match to interview the new champion and Brooke called her victory “truly epic” and said, “God Bless America”.

Imagine if there was no WWE. Imagine if business had taken a nosedive after Vince McMahon bought out Ecw and WCW and he’d had to sell up. Seems unlikely doesn’t it, but just imagine. No John Cena. No Monday Night Raw. No Wrestlemania. That’s right – with no Wrestlemania to look forward to the biggest event on the wrestling calendar would be presented by Tna Impact Wrestling. The biggest PPV of the year would be Slammiversary. Just imagine.
So with that in mind, let’s take a look at what Tna has to offer for this Sunday’s live event.
Hernandez Vs Kid Kash
I haven’t been watching a lot of Tna’s programming recently so I have to say I’m oblivious to why this match is taking place. I would assume it’s because Kid Kash is a) awesome and b) a ‘veteran’ from Tna’s past. »
