Tracey Hoyt was born in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Her late father was radio personality Sandy Hoyt, who had a distinguished career in broadcasting from the late 1950s to 2000. Tracey trained at Theatre Aquarius (Hamilton, Ontario), The Second City (Toronto, Ontario), The Banff School of Fine Arts (Banff, Alberta) and York University. (Toronto, Ontario) She toured extensively with The Second City National Touring Company in Canada and continues to teach Improvisation at The Second City today. Her latest project is series lead Aurora Farqueson in CBC TV's mockumentary series "The Tournament" in Canada.
