He was nearly picked to reprise the role of Lex Luthor, which he had played on three seasons of "The Adventures of Superboy" (1988), on "Superman" (1996) for Kids' WB. At the last minute, he was replaced by Clancy Brown, but the same producers later gave him the role of Derek Powers/Blight on "Batman Beyond" (1999).

Considered by George A. Romero to be one of the best zombie actors.
