Well, he sure knows how to pick 'em. After doing an ad for Woolite last year, Rob Zombie has followed it up with another creepy spot, but this time, perhaps more appropriately, for Amdro Ant Block. Clint Howard stars doing his usual deranged schtick in a typically Zombie-esque grimy setting, playing a serial killer of ants or something. It's pretty clever all around, and kudos to the guy at the agency who thought of ringing up Rob to do this.
Meanwhile, Charlie Sheen continues on the comeback trail, locking in another ad that riffs on his recent troubles. This time it's for Bavaria non-alcoholic beer and it finds a post-rehab Sheen climbing up the wall for some sudsy brew, only to find relief in the 0.0% brand. It's a fun little spot, and is that really an f-bomb in there? As a bonus, we've thrown in Sheen's DirecTV spot that made »

Calm down, kids. Rob Zombie is Not remaking the much beloved Asian film of the same name. What we're talking about here is a new commercial. No clue where he finds the time, but yes, the man has just released a new ad. Dig it!
As per FEARnet who debuted the ad for Amdro ant bait entitled "Death Note" ...
"While Rob's still involved in postproduction on his feature film The Lords of Salem (no premiere date has been set so far), he's demonstrating his multi-tasking skills by helming a series of commercials for... wait for it... Amdro ant bait. You gotta hand it to the makers of Amdro for getting right down to it and embracing microscopic mass murder, and Zombie certainly knows his way around a grisly cinematic scenario on any scale. But that's just half the fun: portraying the massacre's mastermind is none other than cult icon Clint Howard! »

With the arrival of the Nintendo 3Ds title Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir, Shock will be rolling out a series of retrospectives that look at tales of terror that tie together technology and horror. Games, cameras, phones, computers, televisions...you name it. Last week, we looked at Stay Alive, this week...welcome to Evilspeak.

Greek mythology is an inspiration for many big-screen productions at present.
These include Immortals; Clash of the Titans and its imminent sequel Wrath of the Titans; and Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief, also getting a follow-up in the form of Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.
Now it's a case of Greek mirth as the gods of the ancient world are given a humorous twist in The Whole Banana.
Brothers Kevin P. Farley (Joe Dirt, The Waterboy) and John Farley (Jack and Jill, Get Smart) - both pictured above in 2008's Blonde and Blonder - have been announced as signing on to the romantic comedy in as-yet-unspecified roles.
They join a cast including Resident Evil star Sienna Guillory, Kristy Swanson, Kevin Sorbo, Dominique Swain, Stelio Savante, Clint Howard and Jeffrey Vincent Parise.

Uwe Boll has completed his segment for the extreme horror anthology The Profane Exhibit for Harbinger International Films. The anthology, which was produced by David Bond and Manda Manuel, features 13 international short films. The Profane Exhibit also features such directors as Richard Stanley, Marian Dora, Yoshihiro Nishimura, Sergio Stivaletti, Ryan Nicholson, Michael Todd Schneider and Andrey Iskanov. Boll’s contribution, ‘Basement,’ stars Caroline Williams, Tara Cardinal and Clint Howard. After attending the shoot, the General Counselor of Harbinger, David L. Producers David Bond and Manda Manuel have been working on "The Profane Exhibit," which is a collection of thirteen international short horror films by different directors. Today, we have a first look at Uwe Boll's contribution, called "Basement," which stars Caroline Williams (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), Tara Cardinal and Clint Howard. Plot: Howard and Williams play a married couple with an ordinary life - except for the fact that they keep their starving and abused daughter in a locked basement room that she has not left in years. In this perverse nightmare scenario that is unfortunately based on fact, all the young daughter (Cardinal) wants to do is go outside and into the sun. Instead she must endure daily cruelties. This is a tale of sexual depravity and psychological torture and a subversive look at the depraved realities of suburban life. The company behind the film says that "Basement" may »

The Profane Exhibit is an anthology of 13 horror films from different countries. My favorite German director, Uwe Boll, made his about that really sick story about an Austrian father who locked his daughter in the basement and raped her.
You Know Boll has been dying to make a film about this since he first heard the story in 2008. Apparently, an Austrian man decided to rape his daughter, repeatedly, and locked her in a basement for 24 years. 24 Years. She had kids down there, and everything. Neighbors didn't know, no one knew. Even his wife, the girl's mother, claimed not to know exactly what happened. How fucked is that?
So fucked that Boll knew he needed to film it.
I'm not sure excatly what The Profane Exhibit is, except that is seems to be some kind of anthology of short horror frolm 13 different directors. Interesting to note, one of the directors is a woman, »
