New 24: Legacy trailer features the return of an original series character

11 January 2017 12:56 PM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

A new trailer for 24: Legacy has been released, further showcasing the plight of Corey Hawkins’ ex-Army Ranger Eric Carter as terrorists attempt to kill him and fulfill an attack against America. The trailer also shows the return of Tony Almeida, played by Carlos Bernard in the original 24, as he’s recruited from prison to help stop the new attack.

Tony’s appearance in Legacy only further connects the reboot to the original series and one has to wonder how long it may be until Keifer Sutherland reprises his famous role as Jack Bauer for 24: Legacy, assuming he ever does, or if Mary Lynn Rajskub will also return as hacker Chloe O’Brien.

Are there any other original 24 characters you’d like to see in Legacy? Let us know in the comments below…
