Italian pubcaster Rai’s sales arm Rai Com has scored its first sale on Italian first-timer Lamberto Sanfelice’s Berlin Generation drama “Chlorine” and is doing brisk biz with Cristina Comencini’s ensemble laffer “Latin Lover,” which boasts a stellar cast including late great Italian actress Virna Lisi.
Paris-based arthouse distributor Paradis Films has taken French rights to “Chlorine,” a coming-of-ager about a teenage girl whose dreams of becoming a synchronized swimming champ are sidelined by a family tragedy. Pic, produced by Ang Film and Ginevra Elkann’s Asmara Films, screened in Berlin segueing from its Sundance bow. Good Films will release in Italy.
