Did You Know?
When I started on The Tube
(1982), I realised I asked too many questions. Then I read this book by Commander Burt of Scotland Yard, who was the person who interrogated Nazi war criminals and got confessions out of all of them. His secret was to relax them and then say absolutely nothing. The person was so desperate to unburden themselves they just started talking.
The first single he bought was "For Once In My Life" by Stevie Wonder.
