USA has renewed “Suits” for a seventh season, the network announced Wednesday.
The renewal comes as the drama series moves through its sixth season — with the midseason finale scheduled to air Aug. 10. The series is averaging 3 million total viewers, 1.2 million viewers ages 25-54 and 1.1 million viewers ages 18-49 in Nielsen live-plus-three numbers, which cover live viewing plus three days of DVR playback.
Episodes of the current season air at 9 p.m. Et on USA.

Louis Litt is smitten.
The Suits lawyer has been in love before (with Sheila Sazs, in particular), but the introduction of Carly Pope‘s architect Tara Messer in tonight’s episode (USA Network, 9/8c) spawns a whole new level of adoration on Louis’ part.

Suits isn’t just changing its wardrobe for Mike’s prison stint. Oh no, Season 6 of the USA Network series (premiering next Wednesday at 9/8c) is so completely “a different show” that even the show’s stars needed “a bit of a moment to adjust when we came back [to work],” Rick Hoffman tells TVLine.

And we had the chance to hang out with the cast last week in NYC.
Then they hung out and answered some questions from fans.
Some of those questions weren’t quite what the actors expected.
One in particular took the room by surprise.
It even had Sarah reminding everyone that her parents were in the room!
But considering Mike Ross’ back story, we can’t say the question wasn’t justified.

One fan took the mic and asked if the actors had smoked weed in real life.
It had many people squirming...
And most fans laughing.
