Jackie Hoffman was born on November 11, 1960. She is an actress and writer, known for Garden State (2004), Robots (2005) and Kissing Jessica Stein (2001).

She performs a one woman cabaret show.
She has appeared in several one woman shows: "If You Call This Living", "The Kvetching Continues", "Jackie Hoffman's Hanukkah", "Jackie's Kosher Khristmas"and "Jackie's Valentine's Day Massacre" are some of the shows.
Won the Joseph Jefferson Award, Chicago's version of the Tony, which she won during her eight-year stint in the Windy City's famed Second City improv group.
Won an Obie Award (Off Broadway) in 2001 for playing-of-several-roles in her good friend Amy Sedaris's hilarious "The Book of Liz".
She was a 2003 Theatre World Award winner for "Hairspray".
She was awarded the 1993 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Revue for "Disgruntled Employee Picnic or the Postman Always" at the Second City Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
She was nominated for a 1994 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Revue for "Are You Now or Have You Ever Been Mellow?" at the Second City Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
