on March 16th, 1945 in Interlaken. His first album Polo's Pop Tails
(1968) was in English. In the mid 70s Polo was the leader of the band
"Rumpelstilz". The single "Kiosk" taken from the album "Füüf Narre Im
Charre" (1976) was their biggest hit. They were one of the first groups
to sing in Swiss German. A few years later, he formed "Polo's
Schmetterding". These guys played together until the early 80s. In 1983
he formed the "SchmetterBand". Their official discography contains over
20 albums. Polo Hofer has also a great talent to adapt famous world
