The upcoming romantic comedy Playing for Keeps may not look particularly enticing, but keep in mind that it’s written by Robbie Fox, who gave us the clever script for So I Married an Axe Murderer about 20 years ago. Of course, he followed that with a story credit on the Pauly Shore vehicle In the Army Now (which was rewritten) before disappearing for two decades — I’m only aware of one spec script he sold in 1999 for a time travel-based divorce comedy titled Twice Upon a Time, which has never been produced. He’s also done some uncredited work through his career, including rewrites on My Girl, but for the most part his output is unknown and inconsistent. Still, I thought it would be fun to go back to the beginning of his career and watch 25-year-old short film titled The Great O’Grady. Fox directed the 30-minute film in addition to scripting, and »

With the explosive news that Disney bought LucasFilm (along with the rights to Star Wars & Indiana Jones), most people have been killing themselves to find out about Episodes 7-9, which Disney announced are forthcoming, with the first to come out in 2015.

Considering the recent news that Disney has acquired Lucasfilm, Hodges' fan rendering doesn't seem so farfetched anymore, and he knows it.
"I always thought this was something that should've been done a long time ago," Hodges tells Entertainment Weekly. "But I found out when I was doing the map that Disney had a contract with Lucasfilm that they could not »
Collectors and auction houses immediately perked up their ears upon Tuesday’s announcements that Disney is buying Lucasfilm and a new Star Wars movie is slated for 2015. Will the value of Star Wars items — and especially those hybrid pieces of Disneyland memorabilia advertising Star Wars – go up? Those devoted fans – Star Wars junkies who have clamored after all things Jedi such as figurines, posters, costumes, and yes, lightsabers — voiced their support and skepticism to EW.
“The buzz among both fans and collectors appears pretty unanimous: Excitement! I think a lot of collectors see the acquisition as assurance that the Star Wars »
