Monster Brawl Coming to Blu-ray and DVD

Prepare yourself for monster wrestling mayhem as Image Entertainment presents Monster Brawl, the Official Selection at the Fantasia International Film Festival starring David Foley (A Bugs Life, Cars), Robert Maillet (Sherlock Holmes, 300), WWE superstar wresting veteran Kevin Nash and legendary wrestling manager Jimmy Hart, coming to Blu-ray™ June 12th.

In the tradition of a Pay-Per-View event and set in a cursed and abandoned graveyard, comes a fight to the death that’s as hilarious as it is grotesque. The guys at Destroy the Brain.com are taking their tongues out of their cheeks this month with their Late Night Grindhouse choice: David Cronenberg’s 1979 horror film The Brood,a spine-tingler of the most chilling kind.

Dr. Hal Raglan (The late Oliver Reed) is a controversial psychologist, his work is designed to help release the disturbed emotions in his patients. His star patient Nola (Samantha Eggar) is keep in isolation but her negative emotions are more troubled than expected. Her husband Frank (Art Hindle) suspects that his daughter Candice (Cindy Hinds) is hurt and abused by her mother on visitation days. Frank thinks that Dr. Raglan odd therapy is nothing more than a fraud. He needs proof to destroy his creditability but Frank slowly discovers, there is some brutal murders happening. The Monster Brawl Will Take Place This June

The Canadian horror production Monster Brawl brought a collective smile to all of those who saw the trailer a few months back.

Directed by Jesse T. Cook, the film depicts a fighting tournament set in an abandoned graveyard transformed into a brawling venue. The roster of fighters includes classic monsters, battling to the death in an explosive Pay-Per-View television broadcast format. 

Dave Foley, Robert Maillet, wrestling vets Jimmy Hart and Kevin Nash, Mma ref Herb Dean, Art Hindle (Black Christmas), Lance Henriksen (Aliens) and many more appear and today, we got word as to when this will be crashing into your home on DVD and Blu-ray.
