- Born in Perth, Australia, Anthony P. (Tony) Hewett began producing film and television after a distinguished career in journalism in Australia, Europe and the UK. Formerly a line producer for writer/director/producer Steve Oedekerk during a four-year stint at O Entertainment, Hewett has also produced/line produced award-winning feature films, including American Cowslip, Intoxicating and Sweet Thing; visual effects sequences for National Geographic 3-D titles (Roar); and controversial documentaries (See You in the Future and The Reality of Truth). Career highlights include working with the late screen legend Peter Falk during his final film (American Cowslip). He is a frequent collaborator with writer/director/cinematographer Mark David.
