It's Christmas in the hellish, whiskey-drowned snoglobe of Mad Men, and you know what that means: A not-particularly-festive malaise! Awwww. Don, thank you, but I'm still using the one you got me last year.
The post-Thanksgiving season is sinister: Lane Pryce, who is Rango, decided to embezzle a little Scdp money. That rascal-y, owl-y dude! Joan was served divorced papers by her Very Manly, Thank You husband Greg, who is doing a great job over at the Vietnam Macho War Camp War he loves so much. And Harry Crane meets up with onetime Freedom Rider Paul Kinsey, who, since being cut from Scdp, has taken up a new life with some Hare Krishnas. And can you believe this: Paul's still a douchebag. "Remember how anxious, how insecure, how terrified I was of living life?" he asks Harry. "It's gone. Can you imagine living that way?" He may as well have »

This June Syfy is giving us a new creature feature every weekend. Are they saving the best for last when two 1970’s family show icons, a pair of classic rockers, and a “Twin Peaks” beauty join forces to stop Bigfoot?
Danny Bonaduche (Aka “Danny Partridge” of “The Patridge Family”), Barry Williams (Aka “Greg Brady” of “The Brady Bunch”), Howard Hesseman (Aka “Dr. Johnny Fever” of “Wkrp in Cincinnati”), Sherilyn Fenn (of “Twin Peaks” fame), Andre Royo (of “Fringe” fame), 80’s rocker Billy Idol, and horror rocker Alice Cooper star in this newest slice of Sasquatchploitation produced by The Asylum for Syfy. Actor Bruce Davison of X-Men and a long list of movies steps behind the camera to direct the simply titled Bigfoot.
I’ve asked this question before, but it bears repeating: Why is Bigfoot constantly pissed off these days? Now he’s got it in for 80’s music. Who »

The seemingly endless wait for the Syfy summer schedule is finally over! There is good news and bad, and one thing that is both good and bad. Let’s start with that: the Eureka Season Finale. We love Eureka, so every episode is good news; the fact that it’s a series finale, not so much. Mark your calendars – and have plenty of Kleenex in stock – for July 16 at 9/8c. Right after Comic-Con, which is early this year. We’ll see if that means a panel or not.
The good news: Warehouse 13 and Alphas return on July 23. The hmmm news is that Lost Girl will move to Fridays at 10 on July 20. Hey That’S Haven’S Spot. So Where The Heck Is Haven? Admittedly we had a head’s up that Haven would be pushed to fall when we learned that the DVDs for Season 2 weren’t being released until September but Argh. »

Obsessive fans of Crispin Glover likely need no introduction to Trent Harris, a director responsible for some of Glover's most notoriously odd moments. Rubin And Ed, a film in which Glover and Howard Hesseman wander the desert trying to bury a frozen cat? That was Harris. Glover's bit as Groovin' Gary - a part also played by Sean Penn - in The Beaver Trilogy? Also Harris. And now Harris is back with a new feature: Luna Mesa.Luna, a young beauty has a fling with and older man then she finds him dead in a hotel room in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She also discovers his notebook filled with cryptic messages. The book leads her to Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Mexico, and beyond as she tries to »

Yes, this is typically a Foy story, but since I doubt he had as big a crush on the subjects as yours truly did back in the day, I volunteered for duty. Feast your eyes on the first stills of Barry Williams and Danny Bonaduce from the upcoming Syfy creature feature Bigfoot.
That's right - Greg Brady meets Danny Partridge in a Syfy Original Movie from The Asylum directed by Bruce Davison (Willard, X-Men, The Lords of Salem). Davison co-stars along with Sherilyn Fenn from "Twin Peaks", Andre Royo ("The Wire", "Fringe"), "Wkrp"'s Howard Hesseman, and rockers Billy Idol and Alice Cooper.
The two former child stars play lifelong rivals (naturally) who both are trying to capture the hairy beast, but for very different reasons. No word on a release date yet, but you can be sure we'll be keep a close eye on this one!

Folks who always longed for a Brady Bunch meets Partridge Family bloodbath will finally get their wish…with Bigfoot thrown in the mix for good measure! That’s right, the Syfy creature feature Bigfoot — starring Barry Williams and Danny Bonaduce — will be hitting the small screen later this year. The two former child stars play lifelong rivals (naturally) who both are trying to capture the hairy beast, but for very different reasons. However, if you think Greg Brady, Danny Partridge, and a Sasquatch are the only reasons to check out the telepic, then you are sorely mistaken. This cinematic tour »

Sierra/Affinity announced today that they will commence sales efforts in Berlin on the remake of the 1987 feature film Heat with Jason Statham set to star and Brian De Palma directing the action film from a script adapted by two-time Oscar winner William Goldman. Goldman also wrote the original screenplay of the 1987 version of the film which starred Burt Reynolds. Both the modern take as well as the film from the 80's are based on Goldman's novel of the same title. Steve Chasman will produce alongside Statham. Heat will commence principal photography in France in late 2012 or early 2013.
This tightly-wound, fun action-thriller, tells the story of a tough recovering gambling addict (Statham) who makes his living providing protection in the rough edges of the gambling world. Statham's character refuses to resort to gunplay, strictly using hand and edged weapon combat. When a dear friend is brutally beaten by a high-rolling mobster, »
