“I don’t want any more loss.” a breathy Emily sneered at Victoria halfway through Sunday’s Revenge. Unfortunately, Emily would soon be reminded that loss — much like David Clarke — is always lurking around the corner.

A sincere attempt at a truce with Margaux — Emily even brought her real birth certificate as a “peace offering” — ended in tragedy, as Margaux and her fuchsia pantsuit were side-swiped by a speeding taxi. (For those of you keeping score at home, that’s the second time a speeding car has attempted to murder a major character this season. »

Question: Hi, Aus! Totally love Ask Ausiello. I read it religiously. I would love some scoop on my latest obsession, Htgawm. —Andrew

Ausiello: There are no sex scenes in Thursday’s midseason premiere. I. Kid. You. Not. The episode is coitus-free. Revenge Recap: Is [Spoiler] Dead? Plus: Let's Discuss That Tragic Kiss

25 January 2015 8:33 PM, PST | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

If you thought Revenge was going to take things slow following the death of Malcolm Black, you clearly don’t know this show very well. Sunday’s episode — the last new hour until March 8, if you can believe it — reminded us just how chaotic life in the Hamptons can be, even without a psychotic killer on the loose.

Let’s start with Nolan and Louise’s wedding reception, an appropriately over-the-top affair which was nearly derailed when Emily used an ancient Japanese trick (or whatever) to help Louise remember she did kill her father, just as “Penelope Dreadful” revealed in last week’s episode. »

Yep, we’re back with a collection of the best retorts, zingers and one-liners from the last seven days of small-screen proceedings — and there’s not a single flag on the play. (Did we use that sports reference correctly? Please say “yes,” even if the answer is “no.”)

Revenge's Karine Vanasse Lays Out Margaux's Plan to Destroy Emily

25 January 2015 7:04 AM, PST | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Like so many scorned Hamptonites before her, Margaux made her first official Revenge declaration last Sunday — and now, it’s time to put that plan into action. Emily Thorne, she is coming for you.

“She’s emotional, and she has nothing left to lose,” Karine Vanasse tells TVLine of Margaux’s mental state as we head into tonight’s episode (ABC, 10/9c). “She can be quite reactive, and she’s not just going to wait for someone else to take care of things.”

Just as Margaux explained to Victoria last week, the first step in her plan is to find evidence against Emily, »

Nashville Adds Broadway Star as Openly Gay Country Singer

23 January 2015 2:41 PM, PST | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Nashville is bringing in a handsome Broadway star to play an openly gay country artist.

On a related note: Will Lexington, it might be time to update that Grindr profile.

Pippin‘s Kyle Dean Massey will join the ABC series in the recurring role of out-and-proud singer Kevin Bicks, our sister site Deadline reports.

Kevin is a successful country artist who happens to like guys, and his very existence deflates Will’s theory that the genre will never accept a gay superstar.

Massey’s other TV gigs include The Good WifeInside Amy Schumer and Hart of Dixie.

Revenge's Carolyn Hennesy Previews Spat With Emily, More 'Atomic Bombs'

23 January 2015 11:38 AM, PST | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Sunday’s Revenge saw the arrival — in the flesh, this time — of Carolyn Hennesy‘s wickedly enjoyable Penelope Ellis, and Hennesy tells TVLine she still has plenty of poison left to spill.

“She’s s even more of a monster in real life [than in Louise’s hallucinations],” Hennesy says. “She’s a delightful southern pecan praline with a worm in the middle. My basis was Olivia de Havilland as Miriam in Hush…Hush, Sweet Charlotte. She’s nothing but sweetness and pearls and concern when there’s someone in the room other than her daughter, but when she’s alone with Louise, she’s nothing but an impaling pole. »

Revenge Recap: Relative Insanity

11 January 2015 9:32 PM, PST | TVLine.com | See recent TVLine.com news »

Jack Porter: Good father, great eye candy, terrible policeman.

The Hamptons’ second pluckiest rookie — Ben is obviously No. 1 — thought he was saving the day on Sunday’s Revenge, anonymously submitting the flash drive containing Malcolm Black’s criminal exploits to the police, but it turns out he only made things worse. Much worse.

Malcolm was released due to “lack of evidence,” which further fueled his rage — rage that he then directed towards Emily, whom he now knows to be Amanda Clarke. Two tranquilizer shots brought Em and Victoria to their knees, while a menacing Malcolm stood over them. (“Night night” has never sounded so terrifying. »
